You can but you will be way behind in the points as the points are totaled up for the entire season. But as messed up this season is you might get lucky hit a few trifectas and win the whole enchilada
The website seems to be down the last couple of days and I can't enter my picks. Anyone else having the same problem?
I personally don't want to manually record and calculate picks for 80+ entries. Worse case, did anyone copy down the leader board after last race? We might have to just use that for awards if site doesn't return. My guess is they're trying to fix it and we might miss this race, but it will be back. Then it gets complex for those of us that did get our picks in, that's not fair to those that didn't.
Website is back up again, though does not seem to be fully functional yet. I guess the contest will continue, excluding Valencia results?
yes, they shouldn't accept people that did get entry in before it went down. there are dozens of tipping sites out there if people want to join a few for rest of season and then recommend a new one for next year.
Just went to f1tipping.com and it's still stuck. It won't let me pick for Spa. It says next GP is Valencia! Is everyone else seeing the same thing?
I just checked and there will be no tips for valencia or spa. The next race they will take tips is Monza.
Here is a note posted at F1Tipping explaining the situation: As you will have noticed, we have experienced major network outages for over a week. The down time will have affected your ability to submit tips in time for the European Grand Prix in Valencia. While we have now restored the service, there is also insufficient time remaining before the Belgian Grand Prix. Therefore we have decided to exclude the results for both the the European Grand Prix (Valencia) and the Belgian Grand Prix. F1 Tipping apologises for any inconvenience caused. The next Grand Prix for F1 Tipping will be the Italian Grand Prix on 13 September.
sucks, but at least it is back. I will take recomendations for next year unless you want to stick with F1Tipping.
I'm not a fan of F1 Tipping. I've been trying to reset my password over there for ages, and just cannot get them to respond.
It is up and running again ant results from Monza have been posted. All I can say is it is a tight race up front
Well, after being in 3rd before the last race last season and ending up in 6th, I missed the first race of this season and this year has fallen short for me, until this last race, I came in 3rd... The funny thing about it is that when I went to submit my picks for this last race (Monza), it brought up my picks for the last race (that didn't count), I was in a hurry, they looked close enough and I used them exatly as I picked them for Spa...LOL... I doubt that will happen again, but with this crazy season, who knows... That still didn't being me back from the dead for season points, i'm still extremely far back
