I used to dislike the front headlamp arrangement but think it looks quite funky now

Very nice, Simon! Nice patina on the seats. The series 1 look fantastic in silver, definitely the colour for them!

Thanx, the interior appears to be totally original whereas the exterior was done about 13-14 years ago, just ticked over 77K miles.

That is really nice. Fun to drive I bet.
What chance a side on pic of one of the wheels?
I'm about to model a set of borranis and that would be a real help.

Relative to whats on the market, where and obviosly how desparate.
Sorry to be a pain about the 330 again, when I bought mine(with long Aussie history)
another came up at the Throttle shop for $65K more.
Mine is a past Nat,state concourse and Ron Davis winner.
I bought mine privately but $65K difference????

    Beautiful Simon. NEVER retrim it!

330's are the best vintage 2+2 by far and they are surprisingly quick. The performance was shattering by 1960's standards.

Like Roman, I'm also preferring the twin headlight treatment these days.

Also, you're erasing the car's history by retrimming it, especially where the interior is still fundamentally sound but patinated, as opposed to destroyed (for e.g. where mice have made their home in the interior whilst the car was laid up in a barn for 20 years).

If interior is too far gone to be saved, then my preference would always be to faithfully restore it to original specification.

what people forget is that as long as the leather is soft and not split/cracked,its only the paint/dye that has worn away.

a good example was your BB. If that were my car, I would not have re-trimmed it. I would have either worked on the original trim or I would have left it alone.*

*I would have removed the garbage, though. :p

the trim in the BB had been water paint coloured and was dry, when i got it.
I soaked it in Connoly hide food and to my horror the paint dye came off the leather.
What that car needed was stripping of all the old paint and then cleaned and soaked in a leather food and redyed.
IMO the new trim is not of the same quality as the VM Connoly.

Mines only a 308 so not in the same league as Simons. Would you see any benefit in me not touching mine. They look crap in current form. Below are the passengers and drivers seats.
