The Scuderia has made a last minute booking of the Monza track for Saturday Aug 29th in order to have Badoer and Schumacher drive a F1 2007 there, two weeks ahead of the Italian GP. The track was booked for a private track day but Ferrari forced their way in and bumped the organizer out. Source.

No, it is anterior to today's first practice session.

I guess Schumi is even slower than they let on if he is now reducing himself to be only compared with BADoer.

Would be fun if Ferrari would scource a 3rd car in that test for Kimi.

    Anybody BUT BADoer.

Marc Gene would be the most logical choice.

They're probably figuring out if MS is any faster i.e. not another BADoer stinker show. If this neck injury was as bad as they made it sound at his "bail" announcement you'd think he wouldn't be hopping back in the car? The boy needs to get the lead out is the deal ;)

Mark my words LdM will be on the hot seat over some bad driver choices for this season.

LH spun during his 3rd lap, and didn't drive after that. He was 3rd is Practise 1. Badoer drove nearly 60 laps over the 2 sessions and barely improved.

I hope he was on a lot of fuel.

Hamilton did three laps and the track rubbers in considerably as it is a street circuit. Therefore he missed out on the track being at its fastest.

That is the weekend of Spa. Will the entire technical team not be in Belgium working on the race car??? I find this hard to believe.

doubt it very much.HIm like myself are perfectionists and i know he feels that if he cant compete at 100%,it aint worth it.Lets be real now, aint nobody on that grid,on there best day, will go anywhere near Schumi on his best.Very small group who whould be on that second teir(KIMI,FELIPE,and I hate to admit it,ALONSO,soon Vettel because he is the raw deal). That previous Vettel statement is straight truth as I do prefer Webber over Vettel.I just have to admit that Vettel reminds me of Schumi alot when he was younger..

Hmm. I wonder if they're going to try out a new remote control system, with Badoer sitting in the car, and Schumi driving it from the pits. ;)

The idea is totally absurd. Badoer will be qualifying at Spa on 8/29.

Michael as a whole is still very fit. Except for his neck.
