Yes because the enzo is a real drag car:rolleyes:.

I think that 900hp will be about the maximum horsepower figure to keep the car fairly drivable.

Great touch with the orange paint still left on the valve covers. Chicks may not dig it or know about it, but I think it's pretty cool.

Very interested to hear what the aero work will look like...and am also looking forward to the intricate nature of running pipe for that turbo setup...

    Excited!! :)

I think there are two issues here aero and traction. I think you are going to have to go to bigger and better tires for traction as we did in P 4/5. As for aero I'd try to balance it front to rear and get more down force especially in the nose. You have to keep in mind that IMO Richard lost it because the car became unattached because of the charistics of the Highway setting up a motion that lifted the nose and broke under body diffuser air flow.

I'd get a good aerodynamicist on the case and test in a wind tunnel to make sure. If you really want to improve aero you're going to have to modify the look a bit.

If you want someone who can guide you here let me know.

    Good Luck!!

This is slightly off topic but related:

We're contemplating a similar job on a wrecked F40. The plan is to use a 430 based engine (two turbos of course) in place of the original, tuned to about 800bhp for the road and maybe 1000+ for the track. Again the big question is aerodynamics. Base body work will be LM GTE. Has anyone yet done aero work on this?

    What an exiting project!
I'd love to see the internals of that puppy. 83.33 hp per conrod. The possibilities of modern materials.

Just checking back in on the last few pages I've missed... I'm almost giddy. The orange paint still on the valve cover... and turbos...

I busted out photoshop for the occasion...

I came in here to read up on the Enzo rebuild just to find this tasty tidbit. Looking forward to both rebuilds!

That must have been fun attaching the roll cage to the carbon fiber tub for the strength it needs... or did you?

Checking updates here is like a new chapter in some erotic novel.

The roll-cage by the way, is awesome! Desecrate away!!!
