Blk/red Enzo selling at Monterey

Hi Carb. Enzo was indeed a flip, Mr B got it 2ndary market. Name the 2 US franchises that never delivered an Enzo on open MSO BTW
We PM'd the valve spring issue a long time ago, didn't we? Only a few cars. They got new motors with same #'s as original. Old bits went back in a crate. Mr. B's car had that fix. Ultimately should make no difference in value since #'s match and it is factory part.
Not a good feeling finding small bits of valve spring in oil drain screen. Dealers got stiffed on parts department profit on them too.
Can't wait to hear what an old story this is.

Wow, that's a great trivia question...! I'll have to guess on the two dealerships through which no Enzos were delivered new. How about Ferrari of Hawaii (South Beretania Street) and Penske-Wynn (since I don't think they were open at the time, but I can't source a date).

Perhaps we PMed about the valve spring issue, but I don't recall. Makes sense about the new engines getting the same engine numbers - but that doesn't fade my curiosity about affected models.

I PM'd Carb about this a few years ago. I remembered that, as well as which colors were close matches in another thread. Most of us have more to remember than details of em/pm's to prove ANYTHING to you. I'm sure you'll use the info to devalue any car you try to buy, as you always do- wrong color, wrong mirrors (you know your mirrors, I'll give you that).

My patients are fine, they're usually critically ill children. Doesn't make me better or worse than anyone, but it sure as hell is more contributory than selling used cars.
