    This is a NON-COMPETITION, FUN, EDUCATIONAL driving and lapping event.
    NO TRACK EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

    Fees:

    Group 1: Racers / Test & Tune Group: $500 (Competition License Mandatory)

    * (1) 1.5-Hour Session
    * (2) 30-Minute Sessions
    * (1) 1-Hour Session
    * 3.5 Hours Track Time Total
    * (2) VIP Hospitality Pass including Dinner & Beverages

    Here is the schedule for the September 10th event.

    *6:30 - 7:15 PM Gates Open / Parking & Registration: Go Fast Motorcars Meet & *********** Experience
    *7:15 - 7:30 PM MANDATORY: Introduction & Drivers Meeting for All Attendees
    *7:30 - 8:30 PM Dinner Served to All Participants & Guests
    *8:30 - 9:00 PM Group 3: Go Fast / *********** Experience Track Tour / Pace Laps behind *********** Pace Car (No helmets, NO passing - Single File - 45mph MAX)
    11:00 PM End of Night! Drive Safely & Responsibly!

    Fuel is available at track (Leaded & Unleaded)

    Directions to Palm Beach International Raceway:

    From the South
    Take I-95 (exit 79B) or FL Turnpike (exit 109) to PGA Blvd. Go west to SR 710 and turn right, go 8.2 miles.

    From the North
    Take I-95 (exit 87B) or FL Turnpike (exit 116) to Indiantown Rd (SR706) go west to SR710 turn left, go 3 miles.

    From the Naples/Ft. Myers area
    Take I-75 south to the Turnpike, take the Turnpike north to Exit 109 (PGA Blvd). Take PGA Blvd. West until it dead-ends (SR 710/Beeline Hwy), take a right and continue for 8 miles.

    Love to participate in the Group 3 session (cruising around the track and being with great people... all for $35!!!) unfortunately I'll be in Ohio the entire week. Bummer!!!!

    i run go fast motorcars (www.gofastmotorcars.com), a non-profit ferrari/exotic club. cosmo sport (whom is a advertiser of fchat) is hosting us at his next event. im not sure what the protocol is, however we sometimes co-host events together here in south florida.

    You are welcome to promote this event as partnership with Cosmo. However, you will need to be a Sponsor or meet other requirements for any of your other events. Here are the event posting rules. Thanks.

    Allowed Event Posts:

    • Participants (no plants)
    • Sponsors (FCA, Crescent Tour, Dealer shows)
    • Events with NO sponsors or entry fee (no commercial tie whatsoever!)
    • Special Agreement (Sponsorship exchange, paid Sticky thread)
    • ANY event from ANYONE can be posted in the Calendar.

    So basically the events not allowed are from the non-sponsor organizers that haven't worked out a special agreement with me and have an entry fee and/or event sponsors.

    Hey Rob/John,

    Sorry about all of this! I was actually planning on posting this event myself, since it is a '***********' event and we're welcoming all the Go Fast Motorcars members to stop by and hang out for the night.

    Glad to see you guys got it handled, however! :)

    Either way, should be a fun event and we hope that all South Florida FerrariChat members will stop by and say hello - OR, join us ON TRACK!

    I'm on a restricted budget currently, so this is a great chance for me to hang out at the track and take a lap with a pro driver, I'm not gonna miss it!
    On the flip side I am planning a party that will be free for anyone interested, but the date has not been set yet.

    Question....is Anthony going to be there as a instructor?. I had the pleasure of training and riding with him at the Ferrari Experience this week and he's a great guy.

    Although Anthony hasn't firmed up his schedule with me yet, it's very likely he'll be there with us - as he usually instructs at all of my events.

    Pro Instructors on hand will be:

    Shane Lewis - Sportscar racing veteran with over 26 starts in 24-Hour endurance races world-wide; Rolex DP, ALMS, IRL, FIA-GT, etc.

    Anthony Lazzaro - Indy Car, NASCAR, Rolex, ALMS, etc.

    Jeff Segal - Youngest-ever winner in Ferrari Challenge; KONI Challenge Series Champion - Rolex GT Driver

    Josh Hurley - Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup Champion - KONI Challenge Points Leader 2009

    Guy Cosmo (me!) - Rolex DP, ALMS LMP/GT, KONI Challenge, etc...

    Change of plans.............I'm going to fly back to Florida on Thursday, that way I can make this great event, then back up to Ohio on Friday afternoon. This will also allow me to attend that -FINAL- court matter (few of you know about) that is scheduled for Friday morning 9/11 no less!!! So I'll see you guys (www.GoFastMotorcars.com) at PBIR, also have other friends driving up from Boca!! Say Caravan??

    Yes guys, so far we've gotten a great response to the event! There are going to be nearly 60 people there with all kinds of interesting street & race cars. The track event portion is shaping up nicely and the car meet is FILLING UP FAST! There are a few spots remaining but we're within a week from the event, so if you want to participate - sign up in advance online so we can reserve your spot!
