Starting last night, I cannot switch off the parking lights on my 550, and I have to wonder if the is a seperate switch that I may have inadvertantly turned on which is not on the steering column stalk.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
    Piers

Don't feel embarrassed, Piers. I've had my 550 about as long as you and I'm still learning!

I know how to replace the plenum hoses...lucky me! rather I should say I know how much it costs to replace the hoses, etc etc.

At the moment I am driving the car everyday as my son has the Land Rover and what a pleasure it is too, it is ridiculous not to use the fantastic cars, and who cares about the mileage more you drive them the better they get.

That is the right attitude, also, the more often you drive them the least amount of problems you have.

Glad to see I am not the only - how should I say it - 'challenged' person out there, but I have now read the owners manual after two years, and it has improved my Italian. Just to re-iterate what lots of folks are saying what wonderful cars these are to drive, I drive mine all the time and the better she gets, and my mood improves too, there is nothing like a 12 cylinder front engined Ferrari. Nothing. Went to a Lamborghini party couple of weeks ago to see the new Balboni, and casually looking at the rest of the folks in attendance they were not smiling or relaxed like the 2 550 guys there, they looked miserable, horribly trendy and generally uncomfortable.

So don't buy a Lamborghini for 200k, buy a 550 for half that and be twice the person.

    Have a happy weekend

I got to meet Valentino when he was in Seattle a few weeks ago.

He's a super nice guy and he told us some wonderful stories about the good old days.

It's great that Lambo has named a car after him!
