    attched are a few photos. Hope they help. Will try not to think of this as a safety device next time I am driving. An airbag is far more appealing.

    Thanks for your quick reply....but i cannot see the top pair of bolts which do not just sit in a round hole the size of the bolt, they are in fact a square hole and somehow those small square shaped washers with 'wings' on them if you like sit in the square holes(i think)

    Not easy to get a photo of this. Your lower angle plates (the one with the big holes in) appear to be mounted under the heavy steel bent mounting pressing, whereas mine is mounted ontop. May be your steeting column sits ~3mm lower. Also the bolts on mine point down with tag washer on the top, whereas yours point up. (not sure thats a big issue). From the history file, I am faily sure this part on mine is an untouched original set up, but could be wrong.

    I note the parts manual does not show this part. Just when you need it of course!

    Thanks Kevin, I may have to move the bracket to the other face.....that could be interesting!
