No doubt! I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about it. The airbags deployed, the photos do not include a picture of the front. That door is trashed! "hit a small tree"

    LOL

MINOR damage? Minor damage is a door dent - not a bent frame and
    demolished side!

Hope that $100 thing works out for 'em....

Oh that makes sense.... $89k for the car, $85k to repair. $175 for a car with a story and salvage title -- and a crap load of work in between. Come on.

i've seen it a great number of times. the owner likely settled out with the insurance company and just took the check and trying to sell as is. he'll likely come out way ahead if he can find some moron pay anywhere near 50% of that.

clean car is worth $130k ? salvage $110k ? we'll know for sure when u start seeing tons of parts on ebay.

Henry, I'm surprised he responded, I sent a message as well and haven't heard back a thing.

He may be able to generate a little more traffic with the following additions:

    "Gently Loved"
    "Custom Bodywork"
    "Custom hardwood interior"
    "Off Road Package"
"Small ding in passenger side door that is hardly noticeable"
"Small scratch in front of right rear wheel house, but other than that in showroom condition"
    "Ferrari Red!"
    "Interesting Race History"
"Custom brown patch work on leather on driver's side seat"
    "beautifully maintained, and never abused"

I think you could add about another $5k to his asking price for each one of those. :)

Fixing that car would be nearly impossible. It needs aluminum structural parts that are only available for order from the Ferrari specified body shops. Those shops would not fix a car like this and that is why they earn that certification from Ferrari. No one wants to see a car like that back on the road.

I would be surprised if someone could fix that car for 89k even if they could source the parts. I guess if they just fabricated everything it would be possible.

This car is probably some Nigerian scam anyway, anyone notice the grammar?

it's legit. it is the supercars car. my partner who owns a body shop is having his guy review the estimate as we speak.

When are people going to realize that you just don't drive these cars in the rain!!?

It has nothing to do with keeping the car clean and everything to do with the fact that its a ton of HP in a car that has very low grip in the wet.

    Amazing.

Everyone here needs to watch this video again before they think about taking their cars out in the rain.

$85k??? Remember the red 360 spyder at VIR that gently kissed a couple tire walls on turn 5 a few years ago? He drove that one home and ended up collecting $90k from the insurance company for the "minor damage."

Daniel was just being nice. We know how MUCH that costs and 89k is low. But we dont want to be the parts police.

It is obvious that if anyone was to fix that car they would cut corners since they already are in keeping a car like that. So maybe they could bondo it up for 89k.

I would like to slice the car right down the center and hang it on the front wall in my garage. :)
