Dark grey 599 pulled over on the 403, going down the escarpment from Ancaster. Was driving by in the 360 and was going to pull over to help but I didn't see the owner until it was too late. Hopefully it wasn't anything too serious.
Funny, I havent been in Yorkville in a while. But was there today around the time that F430 was parked in that spot. I noticed the missing defuser too. The car was also on College St. tonite. He's always had nice cars. I remember his old silver 355 spider with red seats!
He was in front of me, and I saw him get over and then pop over to the shoulder with his 4 ways. By the time I saw him get over completely, it was too late for me to get over as well. No time for him to pee Looked like a breakdown
But either way i'm sure he was pissed Sorry I had to. Hopefully the breakdown wasnt as bad as my joke. Thant's an insane spotting!
Btw the car was parked right in front for a while and everyone at the hotel was taking pictures (it wasn't someone trying to be discrete at a hotel). I didn't realize how rare it actually was until I found some Youtube videos on it.
Orange Gallardo heading northbound on the 400 near Highway 7 today. White R8 parked on Bay St downtown, and a silver R8 turning from Bay onto Dundas.
I've seen this truck too. It has "TECHART" on the license plate. According to another forum, sounded like a kid (owner)from Toronto had a new Cayenne Turbo S and converted it to a Techart package. 600hp+
That's funny because later in the afternoon I was driving up Bayview and saw that Cayenne. I didn't know specifically what it was until I Googled (from a previous message) Techart Magnum. I was at the Mercedes dealership on Eglinton East and although there were a couple of SLR722s in the showroom, I was fascinated with the AMG SL65 V12 Twin Turbo and the huge arches and wheels -amazing! The people there were actually great, unlike my experiences with snobs at BMW. Since my wife picks up her car today, I'll see about sitting in the SLR - can't resist asking! lol
lol the WESTIN PRINCE is absolutely the hotel to go to bang a whore/slut/not wife/not girlfriend for the night!
Years ago when our car broke the whole family showed up at BMW in a rental. With checkbook in hand I said "we need a car as fast as possible" and they screwed it up. We were a shoe-in! 20 minutes later at Mercedes, we had a new car to drive in under 24 hours. I never looked back and we just got our third Mercedes in three years. My guess is our family will be needing another 26 cars. Not including kids. So far Merceds service has been over the top. I love to rant and share conversations about BMW's attitude whenever I can
On that subject, I have a friend coming into town, he's single, wants to get out. I'm not much of a club / bar -goer so have no idea where to take him. He wants to do a night out with me taking him in my car. Any suggestions?
hmmmm I haven't been downtown to a club/bar in over two years but "the pro" or "whiskey a go-go's" is always good for a party...also I find the "older crowd" like college street or places like "easy on the 5th" is always a good crowd and hot chicks
James I guess you should mention the above two are strip joints in case he doesnt know (I think...not that i've been or anything ) Bob, little Italy (College St.), Yonge and Eligible (I mean Eglinton), King St West (Remember: Between Spadina and Bathurst) and Yorkville are all good classy areas. A Porsche client of mine owns the Bier Markt and they have two cool loactions. One is in the center of the King St area I talked about and the other is on the esplanade. He's done a very good job with this. Easy on the fifth used to be a great place. If you want more specific names and types of place feel free to pm me. I can break it down
