    I am considering buying a 328 GTS/GTB. Before I do that I would like to ask the experts out there, if the switches on all 328s are similar to the black plastic "rocker type" switches, as opposed to the toggle or throw switches I see on the 308s. In other words, are there any 328s with toggle/throw type switches, and if so which years? Thanks.

    Nope. All 328s share the same flat rockers. You might want to look at an 84-85 308 QV if you want the toggles and most of the build quality of a 328.

    No toggle switches on 328's, they all have rockers

    "search" for "interiors" in the 308/328 forum. There are some really nice interiors out there and I'm sure you be able to see the layout of the console too..

    ps: this is the best time, when your looking for a 3x8 and learning all the differences and such. Enjoy the romance.....

    Compare the 288GTO interior.

    Some say the 328's interior looks "dated".

    But every time I've seen a 308 for sale, it's always missing one or two of those "Tums" pills from the toggle switches.
    (Sleeve catchers).

    I kinda like the 328's interior. (Just be careful about carrying a wallet or cell phone in your right jacket pocket. A weight bouncing around near the console can activate the rocker switches.)

    I think the plastic plates look a bit '80s (308 looks more '70s), but the 328 scores on a much nicer dash (stitched), door panels, handbrake positioning, and gauge console in the center dash (instead of the sagging mess you get in the QVs).

    Either way, I think the big decision is what model to buy, not which set of plastic switches it uses on the console.

    Steve,

    We all have our personal pastes and preferences. I find the toggle switches very unique and appealing to me, while the rocker type switches look very common and "mundane" (if I may use that word without offending anyone).
    Having said that, a well sorted 328 with my preferred color combo would not be discarded because of the switches....so the answer to your Q is no.
