I've seen a couple cars advertised that way and the Carfax's weren't pretty. May just be high mileage and Carfax's don't ell anywhere near the whole story, but I'd get a VIN # and check it if you're interested in the car.

I owned a 03 coupe (not a GS), and I have a soft spot for these cars, I think they are one of the best used car values out there.

    lots of miles.

Oh, and that's the interior that can morph into a pretty ugly shade.

I don't think that car is a bargain at all, just market priced, maybe, with the miles, a little high.

Thanks for all of the input. I thought the car was beautiful. Didn't know the interior
s were prone to quick deterioration and I thought for the price it was a nice all-around Italian car.

Does mileage really affect the longevity of these cars?

no but it heavily affects the value. The cars are fine... there are just so many low mile cars that can be had for less or the same money

low miles GS for less than that price...where?
In this market clean, lowish miles, 06 GS's are selling int he high $40s-low $50s.

I wouldn't say they are selling but are being advertised at those prices. Just my point of view. Most of the time, people selling Maserati's are happy that there phone finally rang. I have stolen some maseratis this way

    "need to sale fast"

I didn't see the miles, but if 45k then that price would be right for a quick sale. I think it would be a great deal if clean Carfax and records. At 45k I would want to know clutch left.

I bought a low mileage car (8k), but it isn't low miles a year later (20k). The car is just as good as it was last year. Has new rubber on it, regular service, details, and clutch is still showing high % life left.

Sold my 06 Gransport (Bianco fuji= pearl color) in March. The car was perfect with only 3,500 miles on it. I felt lucky to get 55k for it. Great car though.... it just doesn't hold value.

WOW, I bet that car was gorgeous. Thanks for the input guys and posting the auction values. Would you recommend this car as a daily driver? How was reliability? Maintenance costs pretty high?
