Be buggered,it,s a smallish world.I was,nt interested in the car but did ask re steel/glass....at that price. It,s been for sale for a few months now.
At that price Mr Pap it was a steely..............you would,nt be interested tho.............. it,s got carbys....
Yeah, I know the car *quite* well mate. Personally, I think there is nothing wrong with carbies on a mid mount V8 Ferrari! Its the carbies on the front mount V12 Ferrari that nobody wants!!!! IMO, of course.
And you NEVER will Mr Bond!! MUUWHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I havent seen the ad for a few months now. I dont know where Simon has seen it lately? I thought the car sold, but perhaps not. If you're REALLY keen, I can get onto my mate to find out for you Pedro?
It,s gone.............was there this time yesterday????????????? If I was drinking I,d think I was as pis/ed as Pap. Maybe it,s the Indonesian/Nigerian/serbian/Slovac specialist having another go??
When I saw it for sale months ago, it was on Car Sales and Car Point. Not there anymore, so I assumed it was sold. But ya never know. Was $75K neg IIRC. Where you as drunk as 10 men too eh??
Nearly,Pap.Just found current add in Just Cars $65K NEG page12 Sept. owners man, serv hist,..orig wheels&steer wheel,GTB Aussie or Euro del. Seems like a very fair deal..IMO
Thats the one! Yeah, looks like a nice car. A friend told me its immaculate and the pics he emailed me doesnt do it justice!
i inspected the car, gotta say, I MUST GIVE IT A MISS! wouldnt bother with a GT4 unless it was sub 40s...
Lol! Ok, but would a sub $40K GT4 still be ANY good?? The ones I see vary from around $40K up to $80K. Im assuming the $80K cars are a lot better than the $40K cars. I dont know what a $40K GT4 looks like in person, but would be rather average IMO. You have a 360 and 430 in the garage. Im sure you could swing an extra $30K or whatever it takes to get a good GT4 mate. If you cannot swing the extra cash to a get a good GT4, then I suggest you wait until you do. There is no such thing as a cheap Ferrari. Buying a cheap one will only see you invest A LOT of money and time to get it right and then you may have well bought a good car from the start and saved yourself the trouble.
Huh? No such thing as a cheap ferrari remember. Get one now their gunna be worth $200k in a couple of years given they were the first Ferrari V8. hey any pics of you 360 and 430?
mine cost $30k but i suspect i won't be able to replace it for that. they've had a surge. I know of one for sale for $42.5k that has a serious engine problem. but it's red!
+1! You paid $30K but invested $50K into it!!! I guess you didnt have to spend THAT much to get it right, but we all know how anal you are!
ya know what? I could buy one for $70k and put $50k into it too. they're a 30yo car and usually poorly maintained.
Hey if your after a Cheap Ferrari then heres a really Cheap one that you will love. Its over in the UK at the moment but its a piece of cake to import. its 7k in British Pounds so around $14 thousand Australian dollars, all you need to do is buy it, then put it on ship and then when it lands in Australia pay GST and Custom duty of 10% each and then your free to register it. too easy!! So all up you can get in landed in oz for under $20k. How awesome and cheap is that!!!! Newer than a Gt4 and more practical plus its got a unique and rare colour combo, whats not to like about it Image Unavailable, Please Login
For a first Ferrari Carlos you ultimately really cant go wrong with the Mondial. Its has the cheapest running costs of all 80's Ferraris. Major servicing can be performed without removing the entire engine/transmission subframe. The body was zinc plated so rust shouldnt be too much of an issue on the body. The interior is spacious and has excellent all round vision out of the windows. With 4 seats its really practical, thus making it more of a daily driver than the other 2 seaters, So its got plenty of room and makes a great tourer, you can even take mates along to club days! It also has a longer wheelbase than the other 3x8 series and that makes handling a bit more predictable and easier to the newcomer. In fact Source So whilst no Ferraris are cheap the Mondial is the most affordable of the marque. Its newer than the Gt4 so less age related problems to fix. So really you cant go wrong with one Carlos, perfect way to get introduced to the Ferrari marque.
