Yup... you heard it right. We have a customer who (inexplicably) didn't know their car was a twin cat GTSi. They ordered a single HyperFlow test pipe, then returned it. :(

Honestly, I could put it on my shelf. But, I'd rather make a 308 or 328 owner happy and just give it away (with donuts, with free shipping in the USA). Brand new, still in a billion layers of shrink-wrap. :)

Be the first to answer this question, and it's yours:

What is the name of the college in Los Angeles that I attended, and met Mrs. JRR ?

You're either a cyber-stalker, or my wife's secret lover! I'll send it out in the morning.

LA Trades technical College would be a good guess for someone of your
specialty automotive interests and experience. I would love that test pipe for my
carbed 308. If I were fortunate enough to get the one pipe that you depict, I
would gladly have you order in the mate. As you know, my '78 308 GTS takes two test
pipes to go with my Tubi exhaust which are connected to the stock cats.

BTW...the folks live on the outskirts of Yakima,WA, so there is no issue to have the
test pipes shipped within the lower 48. Jim

Tillman, if you are a non-smoker and wouldn't use a pipe of any make,
I am on the hunt for a set of HyperFlow Test Pipes for my '78 308 GTS.
If by chance anyone on the ChatList has a quality set of test pipes to
pass along for a super deal...please connect with me. Jim

There is one on ebay cheap but It doesn't specify year

Heck if I can get my hands on just the flanges I would make them myself.

+1, the flanges are the hard part,if i had a supply of them i could make them cheep.I know some guys pull off the cat and saw off the flanges, weld in the straight pipe and reinstall,i just don't want to ruin my cats, just take them off and put them away in case i need them.

    Ditto me too!

I was thinking If I can Find a Good used AFT Cat for my Car I will cut the ends off the bad one and take them over to a Machine shop and have some flanges made up Flaring the Tube ends isn't hard for a good Exhaust shop.

I am surprised no one has done it yet and is selling just the Flanges for the Do it yourself guy's.

+1, see if that doesn't come back to haunt you Till. The next time you need something that is listed for free, see if I don't snatch it up from under your big nose. :p:p:p

It only took half a year, but I -finally- got to run this pipe. It sounds great, a bit lower tone than the Stebro that it replaced.

Thanks again Daniel. Ricambi America rocks!
