You reckon? In my eyes, too many cheap nose jobs to keep the model on life support as sales declined. And the M wheels are horrible. TR's have great presence from the rear and rear 3/4, but the front view never really worked - the 512TR was the best effort. Ferraris' highest volume car, until the 360.
I have to agrre with that,the lights just so so and I just never liked the wheels at all........ then again I took the 348 wheels off and replaced with 355 as much more exposed and sweeter line...... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've never day-dreamed about owning a Testarossa* or a 512M... but I've spent plenty of time fantasing about the 512TR.... I absolutely love them. Pick of the litter, for sure. *I tell a lie. I have also dreamt of owning a TR... a 250TR, that is.
The FIAT marketing guys have repeatedly trashed historic model names and get away with it because new f-car buyers too often have minimal marque knowledge. First the Mondial, then Testarossa, SuperAmerica and now California. All of them inapropriate and all put on cars that had none of the design quality of the original.
Totally agree. Ironic, that in the eyes of marketing specialists the greater sin is they're diminishing the brand's depth in exchange for shoring up a weak product example. They do know how to do it right. Look at the F designation in recent times.

Cheers for the pics mate. Nice car. They look a lot smarter in silver or black IMO. Did the owner tell you what he paid for it? I dont recall anyone here posting an official price tag for the Cali Australia?? Does anyone know? $500K or there abouts?
