Paging MWCT

It definitely started innocuously enough. Buying a nice car, then the next one... after a while you've noticed you've bought/changed cars several times a year. I've noticed to my surprise (even horror) that over the last two years I've bought/owned over 10 vehicles (although now I've sold off all but 3). And the temptation is growing to get another... this is horrible because as we all know car is one expenditure that never pays off!!!

Anyone come to this realization and/or has accepted and embraced it? I know that every car I ever buy is supposed to be "absolutely the last one" and it never is...

And the other thing... this hobby starts eating into time I used to spend doing other things (golf, tennis, photography, flying... I've all but given up aviation actually, which I used to love to do). Is there an AA (Automobiles Anonymous)? I think I might need help

 

I have owned 128 cars in the last 10 years, and I am always looking for the next one (now it is a DBS), soon either a 458 or a SLS. It never stops.

I'm with you bro. I've worked my way up to a really sweet Pontiac Sunfire convertible that I've been using to hit up the big boys for some test rides on their supercars. Eventually I'm gonna score me a ride that will make my ex-girlfriend proud! She'll come back to me then I'm sure.

I want to start a poll.....

which car is best.......

Lambo, Ferrari, Acura, Sunfire, Corvette, or Prius.

 

I went to a dealer, to test drive Lambos. They had free coffee, and donuts. I then realized that there is no where to put the coffee in the lambo as there were no cup holders. So here I am, driving the lambo, with the coffee in one hand and donut in my mouth. The experience just SUCKED. Don't buy a lambo. At least don't go buying a lambo if the dealer is offering free coffee and donuts.

 

I say that the Sunfire is the best car to own, if you can get the fuel leak fixed.

 

My issue is parking. The condo complex is in a really bad hood. My 500 sq foot apartment is overlooking my one spot, and I can only fit 3 cars into this spot, and one of them is already half way out in the street. So ya, I feel ya. I just love those Sunfires so damn much. They are total obsession!

 

I do agree that they are a sweet car. I like using my Sunfire to go to exotic car lots and try and get test rides in cars that are capable of doing better than 18 seconds in a quarter mile.

 

I keep dreaming of super cars all the time.

I hope to get one soon so I can keep my seriously hot girlfriend / sister.

Yes! I know what you mean. Even though I am capable of owning a Lambo, or Ferrari, I chose to spend my money on things like Xbox, cool new games, an app for my iPhone. I show up in a sunfire and people respect that more than lambo. They say, "Ya, the guy can drive a lambo, but he is modest enough to show up in a sunfire". Maybe they would think a little less of me if they knew I had a small oil leak, but, you know what, it was either fix that oil leak or get two cool iphone apps.
