coming from an 8-4 team that had 37 yards of rushing against the rebs on their home turf, well thats a bold starement.
I think that we will hear quite a bit about Andy Dalton, the QB at TCU this year. He was really beginning to mature last year and should do well this year......... Image Unavailable, Please Login
No surprise: "Jacksonville State quarterback Ryan Perrilloux has been suspended for the season opener at Georgia Tech for violating team rules. Coach Jack Crowe said Friday the unspecified infraction occurred during the spring and did not involve legal issues. Perrilloux transferred to Jacksonville State before last season. He had been kicked off the LSU team for a string of issues that included skipping classes, missing a team meeting and arriving late for conditioning..." link: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4414299

qb aint going to help scott, plus you did bring the same qb last year as this year too! defense is too tough.
Hurricanes lost 2 backup QB's yesterday, the remaining backups are a true freshman and a walk-on senior. BT, better hope Jacory doesn't go down this year!
Not a problem. Jacory is going to be fine. I have a feeling we will be doing mostly running (QB or RB's) anyway. Hopefully he has put on some weight, he looked way too fragile last year. If we can get out of the first four games at 2-2 or 3-1 we will have a very good year. Unfortunately I find it hard to imagine beating GT or OU, and the other two are FSU and VT. Not a great way to get the ball rolling. Anyway, you never know how it is going to work out. One of the best things about CFB is that there are always big surprises. I'm not surprised the other two guys left, they would only get to play in mop up or injury situations for the next three years. Not a good prospect if you hope to have a pro career. One of our previous QB's (Steve Walsh) is now the head football coach at my daughter's high school (Cardinal Newman). For all the talent in south Florida we rarely produce any good QB's. It is strange to me that almost all of our good QB's have come from far away. We have had a string of duds for the past 5-6 years. Time to get lucky! BT
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?id=4433690 snippets: "Some college fans are born. Others are recruited...The most common source: family and friends...The second most common source of favorite teams from South Bend to Southern California was geography. Proximity breeds passion...Of course, there are also fans who fell in love with a jersey, played on a youth team with a shared mascot, attended college and gained a team or otherwise found their favorite team. Here are our favorite stories..." "Palehorse52G's dad was from Missississippi [speller is an LSU grad prehaps? ], he attended Ole Miss and his groom's cake included a taste of the Rebels." Nice to be back in this area of Fchat boys and girls. Big Game week one...VT vs. Bama. Go Buckeyes. MB
Can't wait from FSU-UM Monday night. I'll be on the sidelines as usual, shooting away. Look for the red F1 USGP hat turned backwards, with a tan photo vest. I'm usually the only one with a red cap. I do it so the wife and mom can see me, lol.
FSU is probably the least difficult game (even though it is on the road) out of our opening four. The others (VT away, GT at home, OU at home) all are much more difficult in my opinion. I am hoping for conference wins, but I'd be happy at 2-2 to start (assuming losses to GT and OU). If we somehow win these four, we will be 'back' officially, agree? Some guy on ESPN.com ranked our schedule as the most difficult in the country the other day. BT
I hate to tell you this but I planned for losses last year and look what happened. PLAN TO WIN !!!! Anything less is unacceptable.
The athletic director from TCU just accepted the post of President of the Carolina Panthers in the NFL. It was in the Fort Worth paper today. Doubt it will have any affect on the TCU Horned Frogs football season but they have very good success in his five years there.......
NCST - South Carolina game tonight was a snoozer. Hurting. I love defense, but the NCSU offense looked horrible. MB
