When I looked up Tony Stewart's IRL records I came across a picture of Kenny Brack, and immediately thought 'Oh yeah, what ever happened to him?' I had forgotten about that horrible wreck, which was 6 years ago! I always liked the guy, especially since he's a guitar player as well. So I checked out his website and he's got a cheesy but funny music video for a song his band wrote about AJ Foyt. Just a reminder of how easily someone can fall out of the public's eye.

Not only did he compete, BUT he won the rally competition. It was his first time back in a race car since the accident. Hopefully he will be back to the racing world soon, he drove a really great set of races at the X Games!

Kenny is still the subject of the most hilarious photo caption ever. It was in Autosport magazine. The picture was of Kenny's car being refuelled during the Indy500 somewhere late nineties and the caption read:

Oh my God, they filled Kenny!

+1! I still remember how mad I got when they went on with all the end of season celebrations while they were still trying to remove him from the car after the accident. Classy move Tony George, classy.

I saw him race a couple of times growing up in Sweden, and said hello to him at the California race before the accident at Texas.

Actually, he was back in an IRL car at Indy in 2005.

"Bräck qualified at 227.598 mph, the fastest qualifier in the field.[10] Though he qualified faster than polesitter Tony Kanaan, as a third day qualifier, Bräck would be required to start 22nd."
