    Not sure about the rear but the front design is really sweet!

    Yuck. Concept looked much better... as they always do.
    I definitely see the S2000 in it

    My thoughts

    Bad
    -deff. looks like they were after the old school driver's car look, but they failed in capturing a coherent form.

    - It looks as though they pulled a number of classically beautiful design cues out of a hat and stuck them all over a donkey.

    -The design team got nervous and over-designed it.

    -It starts off hard at the front and get's soft going to the rear.

    Good
    -the seats look great!

    -side profile looks pretty good especially with the doors up.

    The front looks ok, but the rear looks like a Acura to me.

    I wouldn't go so far as to say it's ugly, but for that bracket of car, I feel it is a little bit of a snoozer. Just plain boring in some areas.
    The rear-end doesn't look like the natural design progression. The front seems a touch misguided, under-developed I'd say.

    I'm a little disappointed overall.

    Much rather have the SLR!

    Nissan/Infiniti lights, original Gullwing doors, Maybach rear.

    the old SLR started to look old, but I don't like this new one.

    let me update that observation:

    * Nissan/Infiniti lights,
    * original Gullwing doors + grill
    * Maybach + (new) Acura rear

    never had a mb but like them and considering buying a new s550 or cl550 for this january. they just cannot get sports models right ie. slr, sl black series, and now this. cannot consider this over the 458 for any reason such as style, sound, performance, driver involvement, etc. they should stick to lux cars and thats it.

    I do not think it is that bad, but I'd take a gearshift DBS over it.

    It's as if they've mated a Gullwing and Acura TL and not necessarily in a good way. Both are good looking cars on their own and the Gullwing is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cars ever made. This? Not so much.

    I think that SLS is one of the prettiest cars I've ever seen. Ever. Headlights are a bit GTR-ish though. But I just can't stop looking at the pictures of that car.

    It does not look like a Z8. Please do not put down the Z8 like that. All I will say about that is that the *proportions* and *stance* are similar to that of a Z8. i.e. elongated hood, short tail, distinct cockpit roofline, etc. Nothing else is the same compared to a Z8 imo which is one of the most beautiful modern cars ever made.
