    On Wednesday the FIA will anounce the last of the 13 teams for 2010. 3 candidates are in the running: Epsilon Euskadi from Spain, Lightspeed from England and the successor to the Sauber-BMW team (whatever the name will be).

    Furthermore the FIA wants to learn more details about the already selected 3 new teams: Campos, USF1 and Manor as there are many rumors flying around about how real these are.

    Personally I still think USF1 is smoke'n'mirror; others think they are for real. So it'll be interesting to see what the FIA will find out when they visit the actual factories.

    It is interesting though that anytime I dare to question the reality of the USF1 team somebody comes to their defense vigorously. The vigorous part is what then makes me most sceptical. It is as if nobody is allowed to question the emperor's clothes.

    No, not at all. I know how to read your comments. You're level headed.

    No, I was referring to other occasions: Back in spring I challenged the reality of that team and was vehemently fought by a newbie on here who swore on the Bible that it will happen. Then I met some folks in Valencia who are in the know apparently and made a snide remark and was almost clobbered for it.

    Normally when things are unclear people say so. Or if they have proof that things are different, they show that. In this case the defenders get very emotional.

    I can see through that Mosley BS Dave.. it's not hard.

    All the new teams were a joke that were given entrance that were endorsed by Mosley. All they had to do was vow to sing his tune. Dave Richards team was more qualified than most wouldn't though ..why because Max doesn't like him it's that simple.

    PK and co are men scorned, however it remains to be seen whether or not the FIA has further evidence that has yet to come to light.

    Woah...USF1 has a factory??? I thought they just had some ideas on paper and a web page that says "coming soon". :D

    Not sure they got a factory, but carbon fibre is being produced in the USA as Windsor keeps us reminding of at every opportunity. Who knew!

    From what I've heard, their "factory" is a former Joe Gibbs Racing building in the Charlotte area, with plans for an F1-suited facility later on, assuming they stick around.

    Thanks for that update.

    And therein lies the problem: When are they starting to build the new car? The other teams have begun their work.
