    What do you think guys?

My horn sounds like it came out of Detroit, or worse....

Should I change it out for a proper air horn??

It appears that there was a problem with the 4 GB mrmory cards. No video this year.

    Needless to say, I'm bummed.

I'll have about 100 pics to post from both the AVF meet and Lime Rock Vintage later today. Any objections to me starting a new thread for the sole purpose of posting them? Adding them here as a reply is going to consume a ton of bandwidth- even for those that don't have it to spare.

With that many pics probably better to upload them to a photo site like flickr or photobucket and post a link. Discussion forums are better for posting a handful of pics -

Having given the opportunity for well deserved accolades to Ed and Sandy to soak in a bit, its now my honor to bestow upon the CT Gatherers and all attendees my warmest thank you. Its truely an honor to be associated with each of you. You have been instrumental in the re-emergence of my inner child which you saw in full adolencent glory on the polo field. (To be honest, I'm a little concerned that my aloof and reserved nature has been unalterably compromised by my actions. Hahahaha) I'm afraid I missed a few handshakes with some of the newer freinds and for that I apologize. I also did not get the opportunity to speak with everyone. Guess you'll have to come see us again.

I see from your posts that you all enjoyed yourselves as much as I enjoyed your company. What a wonderful group we have. The problem now is the wait for next years AVF. I'm guessing the attendance will grow exponentially. I have been approached by FCA and am looking in to the possibility of getting this on there calendar.

    Thanks Again
    Lane

Lane's sentiments echo mine from the AVF thread exactly. A group that I've recently joined, my first time meeting most of, and one that I was very glad to spend the day with.

Even if I lost sight of the caravan around every turn on the way up there ;)

Craig no biggie I have a great memory and in my version I was driving an FXX.

That's okay, I was in the middle of the pack and was falling behind! I normally drive the M3 like a grandpa, and was not used to pushing 70+ on rural roads. Tina was in the passenger seat telling me "this isn't my favorite part of the day."

Our ride home was much more sedate and relaxed.

Crap that means I have 3 options:
    1. I have to park with the ESV's
    2. I need to buy a body kit for my Bimmer
    3. I need to sell a plane and buy something in Rosso Corsa

A possible option 4 is to ride passenger with me next year if I have to go alone again :)

After the garage monkey tour one weekend, AVF the next, I need more ....

The car is so addictive ... if I don't drive her for a few days I start getting the shakes ... I'm really scared of winter coming :)

We meet during the winter too....the brave ones do anyway ;). I could use another run as well, had a blast at AVF. Maybe we should all talk on Sunday about a fall wine cruise or something.

You should have slid to the back of the pack. We were fairly conservative (limit plus 10%) bringing up the rear.

Many people have asked. This is the plan as of now. (lots more editing, nothing is firm)

    9/20 Sunday at SBucks
9/27 Sunday at SBucks, headed to Rocky Hill Loctite Show.
10/4 Sunday at SBucks, headed to Stamford Festa Di Ferrari
    10/11 Sunday at SBucks
10/18 Figuring out Casino trip with RI/MASS guys. (Cruise route scouting 9/19.)
    10/25 Sunday at SBucks
    ETC...

    Stuff to be planned.

Diner meeting to cap the season.
    Any other suggestions?

Yup!!! That is why both of mine are cleanly washed, under cover, and on life support...no lost value here... but you had a lot more fun driving today... lol ;)

Looks like Sunday will probably be a no go for me. The wife is going to a bachelorette party this weekend and I am on kid duty (can't fit both in the F-Car) and they are both sick. Oh well. :(
