I have indoor car storage availbale in Vaughan and wanted to know where to post for local add. I checked Ferrari Ads and could not find anythng relating to Car Storage. Thanks
I have to agree with you Adi. The E65 BMW was a major let down when compared to the previous generation (740il, 750 il...) I have been in, and driven pretty much every BMW and MB available in recent years. (I own both a MB and BMW right now) so I can speak from experience here. The new MB S class is almost a perfect vehicle, amazing design, spacious, fast and a very robust option list. The new BMW 7 series looks like a wide torpedo, probably the ugliest 7 series to date. The interior is not too bad, but the driving isn't great feeling as the MB S class which feels like it glides on rails. I don't know where BMW have gone with their recent design technique...the 5 series and 7 series are totally ugly IMO, very very badly thought out with a very rounded and humped shapes which does not flatter any part of the car. (The previous (1995-2002) 5 series and 7 series were probably the pinnacle of design and performance that BMW has ever done) The MB have a very classic flowing curve to them, very handsome and elegant as the new MB S class takes cues from the Maybach. I can't comment on reliability because I have not really noticed anything that stands out on these two cars yet.
2002/2003 it's Leo's new ride. Go check it out, I couldn't believe it either....and I love the older 740li series as well, almost got one instead of my aviator.
how am I wrong? I've driven both and prefer the 7-series and so has someone else now, theres nothing "wrong" with that, I just prefer the 02-0? 7 series compared to the similar year(s) "S" series. What was the epic failure about it? the looks? who cares they were both pretty ugly but the 7 series was like driving a comfy couch around meanwhile the s-series was jerky, ugly etc,
The 2000/2006 S-Class isnt too bad but it HAS to have the right options or else it just looks like a tug boat. I am talking AMG appearance package if not the full AMG deal etc.
+1 The 2000-2006 S class was almost too conservative looking. Although they sold well, I think MB made a huge mis-step on that design, unless you get the nice wheels and/or AMG package to liven it up. Whereas the new S class just looks large, elegant and sporty in any form.
I couldn't agree more... And just another note on the 7 series.. I can agree on the ugliness of the rear end of an 02-05 7 series.. in 06 they redesigned the rear.. and I find it much more appealing. Love everything about the 7 series.. and also love the look of an AMG S-class.
I know this car, I live in that neighborhood. It is often left on the Street overnight. I don't think he has ever put it in the garage. Sometimes his old beat up P/U Truck gets better parking. I must say, I LOVE IT, I get the feeling it is no different than a honda civic to him. After all, it is just a yellow 360. Now, if it was a Red 355, that's a different story.

LOL an aviator, now THAT is an epic failure. I got one when they first came out, that car had so many problems.
Some sh*thead decided to slash my tires today, at Bay and Bloor. While I was waiting for the CAA guy to show up, two black Californias (one convertible), a 599, and an SLR Roadster went by. I felt handicapped because my poor car couldn't even move. 350 horsepower standing still isn't 350 horsepower.

Oh wait, that was at the highline auction this evening. Does that count? Anyhoo, I had a blast with a 07 911 C4S Cabrio I borrowed for the nite. Complete with turbo wheels! The 997 is truly amazing over the 996. However, i'd rather a coupe than cabrio.
where at bay and bloor? There was a beautiful slightly modded yellow lp560-4 spyder on yorkville infront of one while a black R8 drove by. The plate on the LP said "living my youth"
I see that custom VW Rabbit pickup around barrie all the time! Theres a couple of them running around, one has a Ford Ranger rear end/pickup bed. Chris
really? I haven't had ONE problem since I bought it last summer, not kidding not ONE only thing i've had to do was an oil change. But then again if you bought a first year car you're bound to have problems regardless of the make/model. I love it, great on gas just big enough to get around but not be a road pig and perfect to loan to my clients which is the whole reason I got it in the first place.
did you cut someone off maybe or have it out with someone earlier? Years(10 years ago!!) ago I was pulling into a parking spot going into an after-hours an a idiot friend said something he shouldn't have to two football player looking women(short hair, combat boots get it?) and by the time we came out they had dragged a huge metal pole all the way around the Denali I was driving and then proceeded to smash this huge metal pole on the hood 20 times by the looks of it! not a good night....
here's the 560 and a nice murcie i saw a few days ago in Oakville Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Damn, that sucks! Nope, no confrontations for me. I was driving slowly and keeping to myself. I raced a guy in a G35 Coupe off the line and completely destroyed him though, but I have limo tint and didn't even make eye contact so there was no interaction whatsoever.
No offense to you or anything James, but I've never heard an S-Class being called "jerky". The only remotely jerky cars in the full-size luxury sedan class that I consider to be jerky (even these cars are smoother than anything else out there) would be the A8 4.2 short-wheelbase, and the 2002-2005 745i. The S-Class (along with the Lexus LS460) is quite possibly the smoothest ride I've ever been in. For what it's worth, I've never been in a Phantom or Maybach, but the new S600 I drove a few weeks ago was miles smoother than a Flying Spur. Agreed. My parents used to have an '02 S600, no appearance package. It definitely moved, but it was silver with the white leather and tinted windows, so it looked like an old man's car. Completely agreed, but I hardly see anyone with the base model anyway. I see mainly S500 and S500 with the AMG body kit around. I was very surprised when my neighbour came home with an S430, because I'd forgotten they even exist! Yeah, the '06 refresh was something the 7-series really needed. I can actually tolerate the look of a post-facelift E65 (still don't like it!). Surprisingly I don't mind the look of the F01 anymore, it's grown on me. haha, to conclude my thoughts on this discussion, give me an S-Class over a 7er any day!
Did you drive ONE "S" class and ONE 7 series and base your oppinons on those drives? not really fair if so. I've driven lot's of both and always did and most likely always will prefer the looks and drive of the 7. Two different preferences.
I'm a fan of both BMW and MB... I'd take an S class over the 7 series....but I would take a 3 series over a C series, and I'd take an ML over the X5. And can someone please kill the new 'X6' and bury it........it looks like a German ' Pontiac Aztek'
