The one and only Tony Tag parked at Delaware and Dearborn this evening.
I didn't get a pic, but was in the GTO rep yesterday about 5:15 pm and across Central ave in Highland park (by the train station) was a black Gallardo, driver was wearing a floppy hat and sunglasses so I have no idea who it was. We both turned west and they were ahead of me a few blocks... the two cars made lots of fun sounds bounce off the storefronts
I was driving out of Chicago on the 9th, and right where I-90 and i-94 split, I found myself a few cars behind the musical end of a red 360/430? and the driver sounded like he was standing on the skinny pedal. It was very attention-getting! I've also seen 4 different Acura NSX's in random spots in the last two weeks.
A Pantera in Machesny Park (near Rockford. Is that too far out for "Chicago" spotters?). I haven't seen one of these in ages. I sat in one once - it looked like someone restored it while sniffing glue. Although, for all I know, that's how it came from the factory.
Yellow/Black Boxer trim 308 w/o rubber front bumper spotted pulling out of east bank on my walk home from work.
red murci with black deep dish rims and red lips last night. two town silver and black phantom with polished bonnet last night as well. DB9 and vantage today. Black 430 with black wheels today, and a black 360 with black wheels in the burbs yesterday. Did I spot any Fchatters? I have some pics to post later of the rolls and 360. Just had too because i loved the combo.
on the way into the city today on 290, im having a little fun driving in, when a Buick Lucerne comes flying up behind me, with alternating headlights flashing, and full siren! thought i was getting pulled over, but he passed me, thank god. so what the heck is an unmarked Buick Lucerne doing??? Is this some other agency, besides the state troopers???
My guess would be it has to be a specific federal agency responding either to the earlier bank robbery or the capture of the escaped bank robbery suspect.
thanks for the 411...but wasn't the robbery and escapee out in the burbs?? this was about Ashland and 290E, pretty far into the city. as long as i do not have to account for another style of unmarked car by the troopers, im good
I spotted 3 "exotics" in Wheaton today. All in the area of Naperville and Butterfield Road..... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Apparently we don't need police because we're protected by the Empire. Also, I was not, repeating, NOT in the Dunkin Donuts!!!!!!! No way I was passing up this photo op!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
OK, back to the important stuff..............Holy Cow!! Career spotting day for me! Again at Naperville and Butterfield in Wheaton. This one is a limited production Ford GTX1. Driven by a great guy who was nice enough to show me around the car and chat for awhile. Ah, nice find! The car belongs to a good friend of mine. I'd need to see the plate to be sure, but I'm pretty sure he has the only grey GTX1 in the area. Here are a couple of my pictures of his car: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
