I'm the guy with the BORSARI t-shirt that I made, Borsari is to my right, and Gianni is to my left.

Here we are in the pits of Fiorano. 1981, I think

If I recall correctly, that's the day that I saw Gilles fly in from Monte Carlo in his "copter" for this test session.

I was standing right by the landing pad when he came in, and I didn't move a muscle. I had faith in his ability.

My only regret that was I didn't ask him to take me around the track in a Fiat 130 that he was cruising around in. I'm pretty sure he would have done it, but I didn't have the guts to ask him. Damn it !

I'm on far left, then Borsari, then Gianni, a mechanic and a priest who was with us.

I have posted this one before, but I'll do it again because of the sheer confusion it caused us for years.
    DeGraffenried's 0446(0556)MD following 0556(0446)MD at Caracas 55.

I came across this picture in the Bezemer archive. Quite a large group of Ferrari sports racers, very nice to see. Does anyone know if the script below the picture is correct (345 S)? I've never heard of such a tipo before.

    Thanks, Peter

    Hi Peter,

There's a name from the past! Jean Louis had this great cellar under his house, with all the walls filled with glass showcases and thousands of models, and many, many archive drawers full of things Ferrari. That was in the mid eighties, he had just sold his 330GTC and bought a Mangusta, which he immediately took to pieces for a 'makeover'. What's the story behind you going through his archives?
