Probably would cost a lot less than a California with A LOT more room in the back seat. Gotta wonder what it looks like with the top up, though.

I almost forgot how great the 456 cab looks.

Is that Straman or someone else?

good points: NNO got a pic with the top up

I thought the Straman had a little more 'bump' over that rear shelf...so, guessing this is one of the authorized versions sold off recently.

The car looks stunning with the top down, but I have to say the rear 1/4 windows ruin the look with the top up. They look out of place and too short front to back. This is a quibble but from me one of the best views of the 456 is from the rear 1/4. The rounded look of the rear panel and the way the rear windows tie to the roof line is very well executed. With the convertible it looks like there is too much top in this area...

I wonder how they get these rear windows to lower when the top is down??? Looks like a pretty hefty engineering effort though!

True: But cannot be made better. Rear quarter windows were fixed, and the B-pillar took some room too. There was a LOT of work needing done to even get the windows to look that good.

    Agree, Best with top down.

Very beautiful with the top down.
I wonder if the top really keeps water out in the rain.

I just realized why it looked off - the rear decklid has been raised. This is why there is a trim piece below the edge of the trunk lid.

The more I look at this car, the more interesting it becomes. I have to say, I give Straman an A for effort, it sure is beautiful with the top down.

Are there updated pictures of the car in it's current state?

I always thought Ferrari should have made one of these.

They are such classically beautiful cars and with a soft top they still look great.

Ferrari should have made a convertible Testarossa for the masses (not Agnelli, not the Sultan). The one Pininfarina turned out wasn't as nice as the work Straman did (IMO).

The Pininfarina conversions for the Sultan, those are really nice.

The car has a full set of tools, spare in a can, fuses, owner's manual - trying to locate the warranty card.

I took the car outside to get some shots of the interior before the sun set and I had to stop every time someone walked by because everyone who saw it, loved it. It's a real eye-catcher, and such a pleasure to drive - nothing like a manual transmission with the gated shifter, and boy do I love convertibles. Anyway, the interior shots...
