We will be there!
I'll be there, depending on the timing of a certain event Looking forward to another Saturday morning.
I took a few but haven't even looked at them yet, let alone downloaded them. I'll see if I can get to them tonight. It turned out to be a nice day to drive over. Not a huge turnout but it was fun!
The car turn out was way below par for the event, but we still had 20-25 cars. Funny, that number used to be huge at Exotics on Main Vic in Seattle
I'm sure next week will have a low turnout as well, given all the events down in the Carmel, Monterey, Pebble Beach, Laguna Seca, etc in California. Mike
I didn't take very many pics but here are a couple... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree...already down here..nice weather and lots of cool cars. Drove the SV all the way down, just clicked 1400 miles... Only thing I can say is WOW car!!
Hi Everyone! We're on for E@RTC again this Saturday morning. The days are getting shorter but the mornings are still warm. Only a few weeks left before the weather starts to get spotty so come down while you can.
The weather isn't looking to be all the best so we expect a very light turnout. If it's wet in Redmond, it's a safe bet that we're off for tomorrow. The weather forecast has not been rock-solid one way or another. If the roads are wet in the morning, I'll head over to Bella Pastry instead. I'll post something in the morning when I get up.
Hi Everyone, The weather went from looking good to now 80% chance of rain this morning so we're going to cancel E@RTC and instead take our daily drives to Belle Pastry on Old Main in Bellevue where all of this began. The place opens at 8 and we're usually there a short time after that. See you there!
Looks like we will have good weather on Saturday. I've not been able to make it for the last few weeks and with our stretch of bad weather, it feels like I've not been there for a very long time. We're moving towards the end of the season so please come out and say "hi" while you can. It's also time to start working on our calendar for next year. We'd like to do more drives and events that leave or end up at E@RTC. We'd love to hear what people want so we can get everything coordinated with all the other calendars. As the season changes and we have fewer and fewer nice weekends, we will do as we did last winter and switch to our daily rides and visit someplace indoors instead. It may remain Belle or we may find someplace new. We're open to suggestions. For those of you who participated and helped make E@RTC something unique, a giant thanks to all of you. To keep it fresh, we need more people to step up and help out each week so please let one of us know if you're interested in hosting a few events. See you Saturday!
I know one place that would be very cool to meet at (or drive to). That is JFC Racing in Auburn. They have one cool shop!!! Lots of great old race cars (Shadow, Brabham, Chevron, etc...). They have a racing simulator, etc... I know that John would love to have the group come down. They have a racing simulator, etc. http://www.jfcracing.com/ Would love to coordinate this with you one weekend Tom. Mike
Good idea! I also have connections to Austin Racing down in Puyallup. Pat Austin runs Top Alchohol drag cars (used to run Top Fuel--the Redwings car if anyone remembers) and they have an impressive shop where they build and dyno their own engine parts. That could be an option as well one weekend. When they fire a car up--whoa.
Heres a thought, My wife and I have one of our Subaru Service centers in Marysville and would offer that location for guys to come up and play with cars. The shops is fully equiped and unused on Saturdays. So if anyone is interested in doing a lift and look see under their car, rotate tires, change oil what ever the shop is there and we would welcome the group. Parking for 20 plus cars outside. We can arrainge for a fine BBQ lunch. Howard and Candy Musolf 1981 308 GTSI Maseratif Spider 2 many brass cars
Wish I could make it up today, but I have my volunteer work at Point Defiance Zoo this morning!!! See ya'll soon, Mike
I thought i should drop a line to all my friends, i want to say sorry for not showing up as i usually do. I have been in my hunting mode, been Black bear, grouse, and scouting for Elk, for the past month or so. So i have put roughly 800 miles in the back woods scouting from eastern wa, to my own back yard in Darrington. I have seen some of the most beautiful country. I am looking forward to getting back with all you guys, Tom, Vic, Paul, Christian, and Thomas and every one else that i missed. See you all soon.
I missed today as well Sid, I had planned to be there, but...was up at the baby at 6. Was rocking her out on the couch, and then I woke up at 11 with a baby drooling on my chest Oops.
