Btw I had a good chat with Ferrari CEO Amadero Felisa at Saturday's event & asked him about the 458 Spider, to which he replied "Spring 2011". This corresponds with the Geneva Motorshow in March 2011, one of Ferrari's traditional launch events.

I also asked him about the next "super" Ferrari which he said not to expect before 2012, and unfortunately for us only available in LHD. He said the limited production and increased engineering costs for RHD didn't make it economically viable.

Funny thing when I asked him what was his favourite all time Ferrari, with a twinkle in his eye he responded "the next one" .. not specifically the next one, but perennially the next one.

 

Wow, The rare Koenig F48 spotted..!! I've been trying to find that car ever since i saw it at the 360cs launch at milenia walk.. I consider this ferrari the rarest ferrari in singapore, seldom driven around, "THE LEGENG OF SINGAPORE"!!! haha btw any more pics of this car, I greatly appreciate if you mind posting some more pics of that car if you have them. thank you.

yes yes!.....agree with u on the 458 pricing. Should be around 850k...due to margins
set by Ferrari factory...Should we be rejoicing? ...Damn...I still miss the lower side
intakes...clean design still setting in...but I still want one!

well it sounds like mere mortals will have to wait at least 18 months (optimistic) to get their hands on a coupe, and a spider must be at least 3 years away (assuming launch is March/2012) .. so it's either stick with the buggy or switch to a different toy right?

Why not something entirely different and unique like a Spyker?

 

I've never been a fan of the G .. altho after driving the 560/4 Spyder I am closer than I was b4. I still love the big fella, and the roadster even more altho there is a extremely limited supply of those here.

 

I wonder if owning a Spyker is like owning a boat...

 

I'd even consider PI-ing one except I know how ES feels about that.
