I was wondering if the refueling ban will pose a serious problem for Ferrari. It was rumoured during the last BBC coverages that the Ferrari engine is quite thirsty, throwing off the estimates for fuel stops in the last few races.
Maybe that was also the reason for Kimi to go two stops at Monza. One stop might have meant that the Ferrari would be too heavy to put in a top qualifying.
And maybe it's also the reason why Badoer and Fisichella are so much off the pace. Maybe they're running a detuned engine that's more fuel efficient (2010 spec so to speak)?
    Your thoughts?

Pete, the problem your talking about is certainly this season. Few weeks back, when Stefano said they're already fully focusing on 2010's car, they said they have addressed the issue. I think in a recent interview with LDM, he also mentioned that Ferrari will be challenging for the titles next year.

Right now, i'm more concerned whose gonna drive those Scarlet cars next season :D Have a good day mate..

I think Badoer was off the pace because he's out of shape, and wasn't too good to start off with. Fisichella is off the pace because he isn't as good as Raikkonen and says the car is really complicated to drive.

There's lots of different dials and switches to press on the steering wheel through every lap. Its from the Schumacher era, he wanted full control of everything.

If history repeats itself [which is does quite often] then Ferrari will struggle. I remember those fuel efficient hondas back in the late 80;s and Ferrari could not catch them towards the end of the race because they had to turn down the fuel consumption in order to finish the race.

All i hope is that we dont get into another year of running fuel efficient cars at the expense of racing.

I think this will throw up a few surprises. Ferrari need to get its act togther on this issue otherwise it can build the best car in the world, but if they run out of fuel, then it counts for for nothing.

Then maybe Ferrari should accomodate him, since he almost (and should have) beat them.

I vote go back to the old days of nothing on the wheel but a kill switch and a PTT microphone switch, and shift gears manually.. but I'm old school, where driving meant DRIVING.

RBR and Brawn don't have Kers, and I think they are exciting.

Yes, but that was Ferrari at that time. Now, there's a huge possibility the best driver in the world will be driving for us next season.
