    Yes it is a 4 ring blue binder. I did not record the number but that does ring a bell.

    Please note that a Swiss license plate ending with the letter "U" is a garage dealer license plate (the "U" stands for the German word "Unternehmer" which means "Entrepreneur"). Such a plate can be put by the Swiss dealer on almost any car in Switzerland WITHOUT actually registering the car officially. This Swiss dealer license plate "VD 1552-U" belongs to dealer Carlo Perego of Auto Avenir SA near Lausanne, Switzerland. Perego has had at least seven 288 GTOs (52733, 52751, 53305, 53317, 53769, 55165, 58323, etc.) since 1985 and always used the same Swiss dealer plates "VD 1552-U". It is therefore virtually impossible to identify a specific car from a photo showing a 288 GTO with Swiss dealer plates "VD 1552-U". See also post #4301.
