    Thats what she .....oh never mind ;)

    I like to see that there is interest . My favorite spoiler was a one of a kind created for Andy by his Father. In fact I like it so much I am now in the works designing one that is similar (but not the same as) to Mr Hills. It will be a while before I can show the design as we just got started. The initial design is almost complete we are now raising questions like adjustable hight adjustable pitch adjustable lip or just make a simple one piece design.

    I saw those flames a couple of weeks ago when he overtook me on a trackday.

    Next time I'm going to hang ssome burgers off his rear spoiler and get them barbecued. :D

    If it looks like Andy's, I'll buy one from you for sure.

    As to wether it should be adjustable, I don't really think it would do much for aerodynamics anyway (I may be wrong though) and most people like myself will only get it for show. So a fixed one would probably be better/cheaper/easier to make? Alternatively, adjustable pitch perhaps.

    PS. Get a bloody move on mate. I want it asap!!!

    An Fchatter from Australia was there a few weeks ago also. He tried taking some pics from behind like these ones, but he said the car was too fast and he was too slow! :p:p

    He said seeing and hearing the car in person was amazing! :D:D

    I like the look of the spoiler and the rear diffuser. :D For me though, such add-ons need to be functional (and not merely cosmetic)... are they?

    Well I know the diffuser works for sure as he made cause he was BBQ his rear bumper :D:D

    But the spoiler I believe is more cosmetic than functional, but there is no way really to tell unless you can get us into a wind tunnel :D

    I think I agree with Sy that a one piece will be the best but having the options of height would be nice like a 2", 4", 6" rise from the deck lid.

    lol, The diffuser is more a heat shield for the bodywork than an aerodynamic device?!

    Well, spoilers seem to only really give a benefit at high speeds and, as the car was being used on a track, I had wondered if the driver reported the feel of increased rear grip or stability with this addition.

    I've run my 348 both with and without a 57" wing 12" cord 12" high on a biannual run which shall remain unnamed (what happens there...) and can attest to SIGNIFICANT grip improvement. Scared the p-diddle out of myself when I removed it. Gotta put it back.

    I guess I just have a bit of a sceptical view of spoilers given the usual stigma associated with them on road-legal cars... i.e. Subaru, hot hatches, or any car owned by a 17 year old. :eek: I just figured spoilers were generally only effective in race applications - and then need to be absolutely massive to have any effect.

    Sounds worth considering at some point in the future. :)

    What angle of attack did you set it at and what was the speed when you could feel a difference? Did you add any front downforce over standard?
