I am getting concerned with the feedback from everyone about IAs lack of attention to owners and buyers.
The first thing Mrs K looks at in any prospective car is coffee cup holders .. so I guess the Cali must have them! No wonder you took such interest in it on Saturday Checkout Coverking. They come highly recommened by other Fchat users and have varying ratings of their covers in terms of breathability, water resistance, compactness, sun protection, protection from bird **** & paint protection. I've been considering the Autobody Armor given mine is parked outside at home. http://www.coverking.com/customcarcovers_materials.html I'm still waiting for my leaking roof to be fixed
Hey harold you could visit : http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=64037&DL=2010 on more info for the scuderia..
I have a feeling that the market will become such that the 2nd hand might be worth more than it's new price like how it was in the US. So, a "3-months-old showroom condition car" could be S$950K+/- Funny, I was on my way back this morning & thought how vicious this cycle is. The old horse has now become a PI when people were frowned upon buying a PI back then. Yet, this old horse has far more experience than the agent for now. Let's see if we'll see some PI 458s that'll hit the road
yeah ... if pigs cld fly ... cannot show interest in any f-car if they refuse to return calls or meet ... rite?
yes Ive thought the same .. funny how things have come fuill circle as for 458, I'd imagine any PI will struggle to get there hands on one for at least a couple of years .. especially in RHD. I'm sure they can get their hand's on a Cali or 2 though. Mike/Sereve? (oops forgot about you as well MP)
Sell u my yellow one if it fits. The Murcie came with one that is perpetually in the storeroom. What Lung said but I figured I'd have to wash the cover or get your hands & clothes dirty while using it & it's probably easier to wash the car.
Wow cool. Vincent is doing Ferrari now & a Scuderia! U guys better have a written agreement about the OMV & every little thing with any car dealers if it's of concern. I was promised everything & delivered nothing much. On a side note, I'm sure some of you guys were informed that KBS has just received the diagnosis system for Lambos.
The RHD ones wont be out till 2nd half of next year... so its'll be a while. The thing is if the market and economy continues to pick up global demand will be up. And the chances of finding a PI 458 will be remote.
thanks guys, derek, harold, lung, phil et al for responding. trouble is my area is rife with construction so if i leave the cars uncovered, they end up with a thin film of construction dust and that in turn causes a problem when you wash/polish etc. based on what you guys say (and some research), the choice seems to be between coverking and covercraft. will probably order from one of them and get it shipped in. having said that, the missus has remarked that the car is likely to be gone by the time the cover arrives. cheeky monkey... on a separate note, and not to be a rabble rouser, i believe that as a group, we actually may have a better bargaining position dealing with the various dealers if we got properly organised. pricing, warranties, service, etc. given that most of us get along quite well, i don't see how a dealer would want to upset one of us if the likelihood is the rest of us will feel aggrieved. what do you guys think?
In IA's defence when I drove down with a couple of friends 1-2 months ago without arranging any appt they were more than friendly and warm. They did tell me that I could not park my Suzuki in the Ferrari assigned lots however...
What excuse are they giving you for not fixing it? I had an alignment problem with my 430 rear/engine cover and they fixed it right away when I brought it in. But to be fair it was a relatively simple fix that took them just 1-2 hours. Again, they were friendly and helpful. And no, IA didn't pay me to post good things about them on the forum
KBS will service it... BUT... how will IA even know its not a Hong Seh car? And what's the difference between a HSM car and a PI car now? Not much, given that HSM have 599's that are PI anyway. I tried my luck with a low offer on the Scuderia but ... no cigar. Such a pretty car... and the sound.... ahhh .. heaven..
