Suzuki .. you mean Volkswagon right? They've been friendly in my dealings with them, just not terribly efficient. Then agn HSM never set any speed records in servicing either. The leak has something to do with the electric window motors, so they've had to order the parts from H.O. They also 'fixed' a problem with the roof not closing sometimes, and the driver's window not opening when you open/close the roof. Unfortunately the next time I used the roof after collecting the car from them, the window didnt go down and then the roof wouldn't close on first 2 attempts. Anyway, with patience I'm sure all problems will be resolved .. eventually. ah that's it, you deal with the salesgirl .. I didnt even know they had a sales girl!
it's a suzuki. im going to wrap it matt red... then you won't be the only hot matt red car in town, my friend I had the same problem with my 360 spider roof. lol. You would think after 10 years of R&D they would have figured out how to make the roof last 10 yrs... but i guess not. Ahhh.... they have a sales girl, yes, indeed. HSM will definitely service it. I guess Tim is right, there is no difference between a HSM and a PI car at least for now.

which leaves only warranty issues .. and the question is .. is the International warranty conditional on whether you bought it thru the 'official' agent, as only agents can make warranty claims?
Mate, all PI's now get insurance coverage for warranty claims. So the only issue is whether there is a worskhop around that can do the work. If there is then they claim direct from the insurance company... warranty coverage of 5 years is not too bad in my opinion, and I really dont care if its the agent if there are other experts outside that can do the work... man my RS is PI and I have not a care in the world I think times are getting damn tough for the authorised importers now....
The difference is that the PI car would probably not be registered in the Ferrari MODIS system. So it would be easily identified as a PI car.
Yes KBS, AM, ES, HSM and EM I am sure can service it... but say there is an issue that requires a warranty claim. How then?
