Keep on getting "Engine Misfire" error code from my Engine Warning Light. Have you had the same problem?

Shortly after buying my 360M, I had an intermittent mis-fire which OBD'd cylinder 6. Change of all 8 plugs and no problems since.

dealer just rang me back said CEL "throttle self-learning error" and "engine mis-fire" were result from air-flow meter malfunction. this maybe caused by K&N air filter. Hope this info can be useful for those who are considering K&N filter.

I've had my K&N's for nearly two years with no issues. Doesn't sound like a K&N fault.

I have GruppeM Intakes for 2yrs and no issues. Have the dealer prove it, its simple as putting the old K&N back on and drive till you get the error again.

I would not be surprised if it is not MAF due to the K&N. It is easy to get too much oil on the filter which instantly ruins the MAF. A common problem on Porsches.

My car is killing me: I replaced all spark plugs, both airflow meters, fuel pumps, replaced k&n air filter by stock air filters. At the end of day I'm still getting engine mis- fire on cylinder 1. The Ferrari dealers seemed clueless.

Sounds like time to check compression, for a vaccum leak around the intake manifold or for a faulty injector, or the most likely the coil on cylinder number 1.

Who recommended the fuel pump???? If your dealer did then I'd recommend going elsewhere.

you change the fuel pump, spark plug, air flow meter, air filter the miss fire error code still coming on and engine run roughly.you can check the ignition coil ok or not.If it is ok,you must check the intake manifold gasket at cylinder no.1.this is common problem in F360.this is easy to check. You can spray the caburator cleaner or WD40 around the cylinder 1 intake mainfold gasket when engine is running. If leakage here, some vibration from the engine or intake sound from leakage area by the cleaner go into the engine directly.

If you did all of these things already, have someone qualified check the timing. Missifre codes especially on #1 cylinder are many times due to slightly off timing. All it takes is an incorrect timing belt tension on one bank to cause a missifre code.

I agree. Changed lots of those intake gaskets because of this.
I would swap out the coil from number one with one of the others and see if the misfire jumps cylinder. Faulty coil packs are also common on these. Often exessive plug gaps can cause premature failure of the coil.
