Wow Hans, these things are awesome. What scale are they?

Absolutely fantastic collection you have, BTW.

An old Le Phoenix builder did this for me recently, it's chassis 0931 ( Ferrari 250 GT ). Based on the old amr kit with lots of scratch build parts.

Andy is the best kit-based modeler IMHO, no one has the fidelity to scale like his work, combined with low production numbers (6-9) and Michael Furman photos--------just look at the Williams or the 641

Kamimura is the best in 1/43rd, but Mathews beats them all.

Not to bad, but did you ever see the CMA 166?? Way better in every way if you can find one. I had the CMA 1949 Lemans winner kit, but sold it to Hilary Raab because I don't like 1/14th scale.

But virtually unfindable, one day I'll find one to replace the MG14!

I also have the kit of this MG14.
Have had it for years, to built properly, it needs tons of work.
opening doors, brass hood and trunk, leather interior incl. the seats, tubing of the frame needs to be made, and loads of adjustements to make it right.

All MG kits need a lot of work to make them right.
Nothing fits properly, whitemetal suspension can't take the weight of the car, and detailing is poor!
I have several 1:12 MG's on the shelf, all need a lot of work, Like the 1:12 TR peperbus is building.

At the moment I have very litle time to build, and to much kits.
    (a common builders problem).

And a new one is on its way, a friend got me the very last 1:12 206S Ultimate directly from Joel Fumey. (1 of 40) A chance I couldn't refuse... and another one on the shelf..

When i get more time... I am not getting bored!!

Good for you. The Ultimate Dino is the ultimate Dino kit!!! Nice photoetch, and the body is perfectly shaped. He really does have a good eye!!

Did Joel say he had anything coming out?

Heard he is working on something... but I don't know what!

I know Patrice de Conto is working on a D-type Jaguar in 1:12, it was planned for last december..... and there are rumors he is planning a P3 spider.

    Thanks for the compliment Ton!

    Hans,

How many cars are in your collection? What are all the different scales you have?

I have around 175 handbuilt models, and around 25 kits on the shelf.
Not that much compared to other collectors.
Quality is more important than numbers..
    I gathered them in +/- 25 years

Mostly 1:43 BBR, Looksmart, AMR and alike.
    Around 20 1:14 handbuilts, and 10 1:12 models.
I prefer classic Ferrari's and older handbuilts.
Besides the models I have "some" factory literature and books.

It took around 25 years to bring it together.
