    Jim, I am unfamiliar with governing body regulations regarding build material, but that frame looks similar to the beryllium employed for the integrated role cage for the road car.

    Any chance this material will see use in the race version? Would be pretty exotic.

    Unfortunately Beryllium is illegal in race cars as sanctioning bodies are afraid that teams might attempt to work on the roll cage and Beryllium is VERY toxic to weld/work on and must be done with specialised equipment as we did with P 4/5.

    Because we have to use approved cage materials the cockpit of P 4/5 Competizione will likely be a bit bigger than on P 4/5. Our designer's are wrestling with this now.

    I'm hoping to have another set of revisions to look over late tonight.
