I had a chat with a medium to large size bird today Here are the facts that explained to me... nothing new. 1. IA does not have a price for the 458 yet. 2. The 1 million number that is being thrown around is an arbitrary number for admin and collection of deposits. 3. 10% deposit is the requirement to get an allocation. $100k 4. IA wants a lower selling price for the 458. 5. Ferrari Asia wants a higher number for the 458. 6. Both cannot agree on the number yet. 7. Car will not be delivered till 3Q10. IA totally understands the "game" i.e. sell too high a price - gray market and competitors gets the edge. Sell low - kill off the competition. IA wants to sell lots of cars.
