I saw this car on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-360-CHALLENGE-STRADALE-CUSTOM-PAINT-BELT-SERVICE_W0QQitemZ270466087474QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item3ef908fa32 What were they thinking? The CS stripe on black looks great. Why mess it up? What do others think?
May I make a prediction? This car will be for sale for a long time and the price will be lowered many times.
Is that paint or is it a wrap? If a wrap, it can just be taken off. Over the top for my taste, for sure.
Too funny! I was envisioning this exact car even before I clicked the link. I saw it in person at a 430 Challenge Series race three weeks ago in New Jersey. I'd have to say it looked even worse in person. Just a terrible idea.
If I recall correctly its a wrap/sticker. Not to my personal taste but a fun gimmick to ride in for a while and later remove. -Peter Oh
um...well, it's different for sure. Part of me likes it, and part of me doesn't. Bold move for sure. -G.B.
I just emailed the place to see if it is a real paint job. Would be hard to do a sticker across that many body panels, but possible. If it is a paint job, I agree that it is going to see many price reductions. Maybe they should list it on www.ebay.it Might sell better over there, though i doubt it.
If that's painted, than some hefty money was spent. Looks like some of my low-rider friends who either paint it themselves, or it cost big bucks to have it done. Cool on a low-rider, not so much on an Italian exotic.
+1 Since it has such high mileage the value is going o be substantially lower anyway. I love the idea that it has been tracked and used and the owner is proud of Italian heritage!
Well, it would stand out in a crowd of F cars. Kudos for having the huevos to do something different.
a massive red, white and green on any car kicks it up a notch. Add some shields to the fenders and now were talking. Slapping the italian flag on your car Austin Powers style takes balls and should be respected.
Not my taste. I am sure this would be an ideal car for those die hard fans that like to flag wave n honk n cheer on the city streets for Italia World Cup Soccer team, whenever they win.
I emailed the guy/dealer and it is an $18,000 paint job. I have to agree it did take some balls to do that. Nice to see somebody doing something different, but selling it is another thing. I would have put something like that on the side or rear quarter panel, not over the CS stripe down the middle. That CS stripe is a very unique feature to a CS and looked good. To each his own I guess.
well i mean its different... i personally think its a sacrilege to do that to a Ferrari, but if you're goal is different they've certainly succeeded
