    I,

i'm a 355 owner, and thinking to change to a 360. i've read all the post about that, but every one always tryies to say that his car is the best one.

Can someone tell me what it is better in a 360 than in a 355?

i do not need to change, but will i notice the gain of power? cheaper for services?

    thanks and regards!

Having had both spiders for extended periods and dealt with their foibles, I prefer the 360.

    Reasons for 360:
    - Much more modern interior with very little sticky black
    - More dependable top
    - Prefer the styling, especially front end without flip up lights
    - Major service is $3k vs. $6k at my dealer
    - Much less fear of cats, headers, o2 sensors, CEL and slowdown light

    Reasons for 355:
    - Much better sound (360 REALLY needs aftermarket exhaust added)
    - Not as ass-happy (maybe the effect of more horsepower)

    Loved them both.

On high speeds the 360 feels much more secure.
The extra downforce is something you do notice but you have to be well above the 200 km/hr or 130 miles/hr to really notice.

far less technical issues known with the 360.

It is faster on a track. My friends F355 incl. Fiorano and F1 + race adopted setup can not keep up with m standard 360 manual in road setup.

You certainly do need a Tubi or simular on a 360.

It depends on the amount of money that you will need to add. The overall feel is improvement where a 348 to 355 feels like massive improvement.

if efforable go for a F430, it will be a much better machine but a bit ugly at the back, and no need to worry about cam belt problem...etc just a wild thought.

I've owned both. Everything is better in the 360, sans the exhaust note. That's the simple answer.

Owned both in spider form...totally agree..tubi or tubi like exhaust is must with the 360, but I felt like 355 spider sounded wimpy without also, mostly at lower revs...The ergonomics and interior are light years ahead on the 360...the pedals were too close for my 11ee feet in the 355 and I always felt like I had to sit slightly sideways to get to pedals correctly..and of course lets not forget the top on 355 spider was a horrible mechanism with lots of issues and that stupid cover to put on..

What do you mean by that- oversteer in the 360? Is this only noticable on the track at 10/10ths or on the street as well?

These are great comments/insight by the way guys....

    Thanks a lot to everyone!

    Finally i did own a 360 since july 2011....

    Big big difference...

Totally Agree with everything.......... great the 360, did have capristo exhaust to solve sound that is really gorgeous in 355... and some improvements in software to be done to have a better change gearbox and a perfect car (i can't afford a 430 at the moment and the look from my point of view is much better for the 360, even if performance is much better in the 430)

The thing is that i keep thinking of my rude and naughty 355... jejeje, but won't go back.....

    Both are impresive!

    Regards!

I would say, stay with the 355 and wait until you can get a 430 Scuderia. I have previously owned two 355 GTS F1 and tried the 360 at one time. Cant say that the 360 feels that much faster, and the looks of the 355 is much better in my opinion. I am now in a 430 Scuderia and even though it is a much faster car I still miss the looks and sound of the 355.

If I could I would have them both, but I cant. Think twice before changing to a 360 if you don't think the 360 is the better looking car...
