    Ok,

Are you getting these Miura SV owners manuals mass produced or something? No way can that be original in that mint condition, or is it?

    i have to correct you

ONLY the first one is a miura SV manual

it is MINT (it was part of a small collection kept in plastic bags!)

all the others are from different models: Urraco P300, countach S, jarama, ....and many more

    all originals!
one to each kind besides a pair of countach S (one signed by Gandini to ;) )

One more time: your collection is AMAZING!!

Do you happen to know if a parts/service manual exists for the Islero? Nobody seems to know its existence...

    hi

i have never seen one to be honest,

i have to say all islero's items are pretty rare
the only original owner's manual i had seen was at padova show and was VERY pricey!

p.s. i think i am a little sick...i started to think i could almost buy a car selling all the parts, manuals, etc....

To the best of my knowledge Lamborghini did not issue a specific parts book for Islero. With many of the same mechanical systems as the 400GT 2+2, you used the 400GT parts book. Now there is a Islero Use & Maintenance book. It is a very simple typed document consisting of no more than 35 pages. The only illustrations/drawings being of the instrument panel and the seat belt layout. The copy that I have is in Italian and I doubt that it was issued in any other language. You have to remember in many ways the Islero was an afterthought. A continuation of the 400GT 2+2. Lamborghini had created a sensation with the introduction of the Miura in 1966. In 1967 they introduced the Espada, the first real four passenger exotic. The factory was busy keeping up with demand for those two. When the 400GT 2+2 was phased out the Islero became an interim model as the development continued on the Jarama which was introduced in 1970. All this for a manufacturer which had introduced its first prototype vehicle, the 350GTV, in 1963.

This is the Lamborghini engine block table I'm building. I'll be glass beading the block, honing the cylinders and polishing up the head studs and deck.

Thanks Emilio, yes i think it is the typical story, as a 10-12 year old the Countach was my total goal and dream car to have. My opinion and everyone has there own (thats what makes the world go round) the DD is the BADDEST COUNTACH ever built. Then the Diablo came out and it was complete and total depression for me as a kid. I figured Chrysler was ruining the company with this car. VERY UPSET! Then the Roadster came out and that caught my attention. I love them all though, these 2 just happen to be a bit more LOVED!
