Interior Door Panel screws & washers

Been searching but didn't find.
I am looking for a source for the #4 'flush type washers' for the interior door panels. I sourced the #4 screw, now need to find the washers. Not sure if these washers are used on other models? Thanks!

 

I haven't found them either. Have the screws in black and chrome. Please PM me so we can exchange e-mail address so if either of us finds them...

I found a great assortment of these little parts at West Marine. I believe they are made in Italy, and they seem to be a very close if not perfect replacement for the orig Ferrari interior screws.

 

Looking for the washers. Already have the screws thanks 2dinos

You'll have to get them re-plated in black oxide, but no biggie. Where is everyone getting the correct metric, Italian trim screws in #4 with black oxide pre-applied?

 

I think I found them at Ace hardware a few years ago, even Home Depot may have them.

I've found them (chrome) at my local PepBoys about 2 years ago. It took 3 stores before I found them. They are not always in stock.

 

Thank you everyone, seems these washers are as rare as hens teeth. I'll contact these places and keep you posted.
Sam you asked where I sourced the screws. First they are from: AUVECO part#12897, black one inch length. (100 count $8.00) I purchased mine from Western Upholstery supply 3032929330. I am also looking into getting the chrome washers black zinc plated. So far the plating shop told me no guarantees getting the zinc to coat the chrome/nickel. I will get a sample and try.

 

I found screws and washers at Lowes or Home Depot (one of them). They have a few automotive trim cabinets full of interior screws, anchors, etc. in the hardware dept. The screws were black and I spray painted the washers flat black.

I am glad that you found them. David F. also told me to check Home Depot. Sadly, here in Canada the Home Depots in my area do not have anything close. Perhaps some Home depots carry some different fasteners? Hard to say, but it is certainly worth a try for others.

As for the black coating... In the past I seem to remember that Caswell had a kit to do black oxide coating. I used this kit and it was great for some of the steel bolts/screws I used for some of my engine area fasteners. Whether it will be suitable for trim screws is hard to say. That being said, a professional electroplating shop should be able to do this at a much higher level.

If the washers are brass then it is quite easy to do yourself. Just do a google search for brass blackening for recipes. The earlier link to a source for these listed brass unplated versions of the washers.
