Saw Trick R Treat last night. Was supposed to go to theaters but an exec at Warner Bros got cold feet because they kill some children in it. So its now dumped straight to DVD . last night the director held a screening here locally so i went.

Great Halloween movie...I recommend it to anyone who likes good horror movies.

Crank 2. I think you have to imbibe mass quantities of recreational drugs for it to make sense.....

And what's with Amy Smart playing a stripper with FChat type rules? Black X's over nipples, that's a strip club heading toward bankruptcy.

I watched Beverly Hills Cop 2 this morning, really funny and I think a new one is being made by Brett Ratner, the director of X-Men.

    That was a great movie.

I just watched 500 days of summer. Besides Minka Kelly making a 2 minute cameo, pretty slow draggy movie.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 3D - was great fun, saw it with the kids. Some of the references to 80's tech and graphics were neat - Atari, Commodore-looking computers, etc. The animation and rendering were much better than the commercials set it up to be.

Monsters vs Aliens - Not as good as I'd hoped it would be but what do you expect from a rush of CGI films coming out.

finally got around to watching Syriana over the weekend, not entirely sure what to think...kinda reminded me of Traffic or Babel but without the plotlines tying together well.

Best time I've had at the movies in a long time. Wow! Lots of fun (and I'm not a zombie movie fan either)

Also caught a movie on late night TV - "Christmas on Mars"... worst sci-fi movie ever

Where The Buffalo's Roam, before that, The Virgin Suicides, Before that, Slackers, before... Confessions of a dangerous mind, and, BEFORE THAT, Heat.

Heat was easily the best. Listening to the soundtrack right now.

I'm man enough to admit that I saw "September Issue" today (it was that or Michael Moore's rant on capitalism).

It was actually an interesting movie about identity, meaning, and work. not at all what I thought it was going to be like. Sort of "Studs Terkel goes to Fashion Week".
