She's a beauty, love the engine detail. I also have an 82,#39367,guess i need to get busy on my engine! Thanks for the pic, Bill
High pressure hot water with a pre-soak of engine de-greaser. Also, I was able to give special attention to the valve covers, as they were removed for the valve adjustment during the major service. I was able to clean & polish with brushes & solvents all the cracks & crevices prior to reinstalling them. The air box, plenum, coolant reservoir and other parts were removed for new paint. This was part of the major service performed by the shop. The carbon fiber plenum hose was the same price as the Ferrari OEM rubber hose. I also replaced the plastic fuel injection lines with stainless. I just need to re-stencil the air box with the Ferrari logo. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Here are some shots over the summer in front of the Old Stone Quary in Sturgeon Bay, WI. (aka Door County, WI) Ironicaly my Grandfather owned and ran this stone quary in the 40's & 50's. It's a beautiful park on the lake. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Looks awesome! Did he fully restore it Steve?? Or just a coat of jam on the outside and a little freshen up?
Cheers Mike, its in the plan! I could have/should have bought one back in Febuary this year. But I was a little un-certain about keeping my job at the time. I think I was being a little paranoid at the time! But, fast forward 6 months I have decided to buy another investment property before I add another Ferrari to the garage. But a 308 is in the plan, then perhaps a CS, 430 or 599. They will be a little more affordable for me in the next 5-10 yrs.
