Hi Guys Mrs. Bastage here.... Is there any trunk space in a Lambo? Or anyone have any other suggestions where I might hide Lane's body? need info ASAP, Plane departs at 10:00PM and I have banking business to complete.
hmm...well thinking creatively here, if you stick that nasty brown F hat on his head and prop him up in the passenger seat it will let you use the HOV lanes in rush hour. Exotic trunks weren't meant for that kind of work...although we're not 100% sure, given the history of Phil's 308
You can bet It's going with him. I Wish I could see Saint Peters face when he come walking up with that skanky thing on.
Just put the car up on the jackstands, open the garage door, shove him under it and leave his feet sticking out. The neighbors will think everything looks normal.
Seems like forever since I've been to GBury. Looking forward to Sunday. Weather looks nice if not a little brisk. Craig - 8:00?
Great turn out at Starbucks, Had some new faces and cars. A group left a little early to make a guest apperance at the Local Columbus Day parade on Franklin Ave in Hartford..... Thanks to Mike ( 348), Mike(308), Mike(GTV) ,and Lane(348) with David riding shotgun ,for taking the time to show off our rides in the Columbus Day parade. I talked to some of the folks after the parade , and they had a large group of people from Italy, and they really enjoyed the Ferrari's and Alfa and Fiat in the Parade. BOOM BOOM POW..... Frank Britta said thanks again for the support!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Starbucks even ran out of my favorite breakfast sandwich with me showing up later than usual ... on a positive note I got to meet some new faces today
So, any good updates on the Foxwoods rally? I know the guys organizing it are working very hard on it.
The only update I can offer is, that nasty noreaster should be outta here by early Saturday. At this point Sunday is looking sunny with temps around 55. If we meet early enough you will probably be using your heat for the second time. Let's hope the forecast holds.
Oh Man! What a great day. Started out in GBury around 8:30, usual time, then decided to saddle up for the parade. The parade was an unexpected treat and was a lot of fun. The people really seemed to like the cars. I had a few kids have me stop so they could take their picture next to the 348. DJ Mike's 308 let out a few really nice exhaust blasts for an exuberant crowd every now and then and Peters Fiat did doughnuts in the road with ease. Lane, Dave, Mike and I left after the parade for a run to Foxwoods. Traveling down 2 on our way to Foxwoods in perfect weather was beautiful. There were so quick lane changes that got exciting when we almost missed our exit, but we made it though unscathed. We spent some time meeting people and walking around the casino then headed for a long drive in the twisty roads in the surrounding area. It was a blast. The rest of the day was also a blast to say the least and the night was even better. Ah the Scorpion bar . Man could get into trouble there . Cant wait for next week. --Mike
Yup...another great weekend. Nice to meet the new faces. Re: Foxwoods...Ran a mock event yesterday and found a few more bugs needing attention. Adjustments have been made. Cruise was shortened by 20 minutes to remove some of the more tedious and trafficy aspects. The event is shaping up to be nothing short of epic. Need to get word to Rocco about his attendance but have no contact info. Can someone help? Mike...What do you mean "could" get in trouble?
Lane. Can you send me a copy of the new route, so we can see what the changes are before next Sunday? Don't want to make any wrong turns and my co-pilot is dialed in on the original route with appropriate landmark notes on the old form.
Stayed for awhile after you guys left due to a very attentive wait staff . Trouble was averted when Rob pulled me out of the fire so to speak . I headed home around 7:30, could have gotten interesting. Can't wait to see what happens Sunday. --Mike
WOW ... just saw the updated list of confirmed cars ... what a great mix of hardware ... very impressive now that people at work know about the car, several expressed interest in coming to check things out as spectators
I love that GTV. I've always wanted one of those cars. I think it is one of the best looking coupes ever designed.
Frank - We are simply going to have to find some subversive tasctics to get HER interested in the stuff YOU keep missing. Any psyco.. physco.. syco... any head shrinkers here? This may require some hypnotherapy. Mike - we'll see how "averted" trouble was when she runs up to you to say HI on Sunday. Best to remove Sue's nail file and any other sharp implements from her purse sometime this week.
