    Hey. I think I've seen that car before. IIRC, Frogarri was the name.

    The original trans was a 4 speed. With the short rear gears, it made for a cruising speed of about 50 mph (60% of redline.) It has been replaced with a Datsun B210 5 speed overdrive unit. Now, the car is comfortable @ 75mph. The engine originally was a 950cc. The iron block has been bored and stroked to 1275cc and .030 over. The rear axle is stock, AFAIK.

    This car was just completed from a rotiserre restoration in August. The car lives in SoCal. You wouldn't believe the other stuff he's got...
