Check this out. It offers a lot of insight into the Ferrari factory of the 1980's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wg41s7IbtE&feature=related
Hi Michael. Great video! Anyone knows how to grab it to my hard disk? It worths to keep it saved in my PC.
Well that certainly answers the great debate over which way the factory rotated the 308 motors during install... front up, rear down. Rick
Awesome, thanks! That made my day and totally offset the disappointment of the guy this morning that said 308s are toads because 360s can go faster.
very cool!!!!!!!!! note, the BB512i they zoomed in on.... 134 test / delivery miles on it. the 308 QVs were out and in the shots, so this was shot later in production, as opposed to the early carb car era. i SWEAR the blu GTB QV in the lot as they pan through is mine! i know of only 2 dark blue QV GTBs........ very cool video ! saved it!
No...the 328 is a toad because the 355 can go way faster...and handles way better...and sounds way better...and looks better, too. Not that the 328 isn't a cool car.
If you use Firefox browser as most of us do, install the UNPLUG add-on. Go to the link shown, click on the 'unplug' fish icon and specify where on your hard drive to download the file to. Use the RIVA flv player to watch it.
hee hee i figured that would get you to say something. not like there are that many of our blue GTBs around !!!
I've captured it and saved it as an .mp4 (iPhone/iTouch/iPod) format. You can download it from http://rapidshare.com/files/292701320/FerrariTreccaniChannel.mp4 and translate it into a different format such as .wmv or .avi.
they installed that 308 engine with the a/c compressor attached as well. Never knew that was even possible. great vid
If anyone does this, can you please post it so those of us that are technologically illiterate can download it. Thanks. George
Great video! Yes, I'd say that 308 must have suffered some damage there with the engine being dropped in. QV's and BBi's, 1983/4.
Hi Paul. I use IExplorer but on my portable I've also installed Firefox. I will do as you told me. Thanks for the tip! Regards
I LOVE seeing this stuff from back in the day! My car being built can be seen in the background at 1:44.
Would it have killed someone to run a lawnmower around the infield of Fiorano before shooting the video??
I do all the time...Why fight with it in the car when you can install the whole set up while the engine is on the stand?? I leave the bell housing off however to get the extra room. So much easier to put the bellhousing on then that damn a/c compressor!! lol
Nice.... Although I may like it better if I could speak Italian Anyone who can translate know if any particularly interesting comments are made in the narration? Such as, "At first it took Ferrari several minutes to understand how the headlights on the Boxer were supposed to function....".
