How long does it take...

Does anyone know how long it takes approximately to order a 599 and have it delivered. My dealer has a November build slot for a 599 and was wondering how long it all takes (roughly)? Thank you!

 

I thought you just bought an 08 599?

Decided to buy a second one?...so that the first one doesn't feel alone in the garage?

 

10-12 weeks from start of build-depending on how far you are from port of entry.
Mine was supposed to take 3 mo and arrived a month early!

 

I ordered mine in may. The build was just finished and I will get the car in about 3 weeks.
Keep in mind that the factory was closed for august.

 

I can't wait to see photos of your car, it ought to be a beauty.

I did buy an 08 599 with 900 miles on it. I wanted to see how I really liked the car over the course of a month or so. That said, I really like it and was thinking of building my own. My current one is Nero/Cuoio and I really like Rosso/Beige (red inserts) and if I can get the HGTE package without the HGTE on the seats, I may decide to order. I'm heading to the dealer tomorrow for some discussions.

 

You can order it without the "Handling GTE" stitched on the seats. I ordered mine without the stitching and with the Challenge wheels instead of the spoked HGTE wheels.
My car will look like any other 599 except it will be a little lower.

 

Can you get the leather Daytona seats with the HGTE pack or only the Alcantara options?

I believe that within the Atelier program one can order any combination possible; the stated HGTE standard configuration is what I affectionally call "brochure spec" as most cars will be different anyway.
