Next to store #1 was a rental, built and owned by GrandPap. He had also built the ranch style house oh, 50 M behind the store, on 10 of the 300 acres of land he farmed. It should be noted he had built the 1st store, itself starting as a produce stand, that starting from fruits and vegetables he grew himself. An enterprising, busy man. Now, us kids had plans too. An early enterprise consisted of moderating the rental neighbor's kids, as they were the very definition of evil. Trolls they were. They'd openly taken a few shots at tractors, combines, and mistake of mistakes - the oldest of the Uncles, who was the ripe old age of 12. My Brother was 10, the younger Uncle, 8, and I was 6, probably wearing clothes they had passed on to one another. Fortunately, clothes were well cared for by our Mothers. "I'd" pass them on to another family, where they'd go through 2 boys, the younger of which was part of one of two sets of twins, and whose sister, as I later found out, had the most fantastic pair of her own [snaps out of it #1] and the clothes would then presumably die an ignominious death and go to that great hamper in the sky [snaps out of it #2] . That meant I got the hand-me-down, a lovely "Colt .45" BB gun, Uncle #2 got the pellet gun, my Brother got the .22, and Uncle #1, the 12 guage double-barrel shotgun. We did not use the also very real bow and arrow, as arrows were hard to find in tall cotton, just in case we missed our targets, who nevertheless, faced impending doom. Because we had one other Secret Weapon. Untested, but still. This was WWIII. Using Surgical tubing mounted on pickup [ute] stakes and a bleach bottle made back in the day when things were sturdy, paper bags filled with fine dirt were readied and launched from behind the ranch house by myself and Uncle #2, and followed through with water balloons. This was part of the Shock and Awe campaign directed onto the rental property. But, still it was not our Secret Weapon. During this time, Uncle #1 had commandeered the black and chrome Honda 50 and gave quick instruction to my older Brother #1, who was blissfully unaware of Launch Control, let alone the power of a throttle at full tilt boogie, resulting in a most spectacular catch-and-release wheelie. Though Uncle #1 and my Brother hadn't tested the Secret Weapon, we had all seen them used in the movies, so, all was fair in love and war. Uncle #2 and I were given instructions on how to launch the Secret Weapon while my Brother revved the Honda 50 and Uncle #1 rode Shotgun. Literally. While all this was going on, the Evil Empire had enemy spies sneaking through the cotton field, perpendicular to row direction. This was to our advantage, as we all were aware of how heavy feet get when walking through muddy soil, which is pretty much how the cotton field was that day. From @ 40 M out, One of the mud-caked enemy stood and aimed his BB gun, and the volley began. Shotgun, Rifle, pellet and BB gun were shot wildly, none coming close, of course. Uncle #1 reloaded and off they went, and as instructed, we aimed our secret weapon at the direct fire, while the shotgun blasted away. The secret Weapon? Keepsakes from WWII GrandPap had brought back... stashed and hoped we'd never find. A dozen Live Mortar Rounds. None of them went off. But, GrandPap sure did!
Lol!! I bet Grandpappy-wax went off like a a dozen Mortar Rounds!! Great story!! Gotta love the good ol days eh? Yep, you're right there mate!
I been playing GTA4 on 360. The setting is New York City and every time you hit a yellow cab the driver yells out MALAKA. hahahaha.

Here is Poncho's sister, Jorja! She is a little fatty like Poncho. Jorja is a little champion pup. She has already won 5 awards since she hit the show scene mid-June. The breeder who sold us Poncho told us to enter Poncho in dog shows as she will do REALLY well. Sadly, we dont have dog shows here or anywhere near our area. But I am sure Poncho would have faired well at the shows. In the meantime, it looks Jorja is bringing home the trophies for the family. http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/profile.asp?dog=40212
Yep, she sure has! A top dog that patrols the Pap residence when we our out! Lol!! Yeah man. A lame excuse.............but I want to wait till I get all the ones I want before I display them. I am STILL waiting for my 355 GTS. And then I need to get a Hotwheels 125 S and Kyosho 308 QV GTS. So I will worry about it when I return home from my wedding. Around December I should have them displayed nicely.
A mate will look after her for a few days, then Nicole's Mum and Dad will take her to their place and look after her till we get back late November.
I am going to buy this.......... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Ferrari-F430-Scuderia_W0QQitemZ360197559795QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Toys_Hobbies_Ride_On_Toys?hash=item53dd7295f3 And this................. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Ferrari-Enzo_W0QQitemZ360197559779QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Toys_Hobbies_Ride_On_Toys?hash=item53dd7295e3 So my kids can have the option of driving an Enzo or Scuderia everyday! I just need some kids first? Any suggestion?
Sounds like a plan! Nicole ALWAYS talks about how she would love to adopt an orphaned Chinese baby! Lol! NEVER! You cant put a price on your childs happiness! At least I can afford these ride on Ferrari!
lol. I looked at getting them for my boys last. My wife went out and bought a Wiggles car. Mind you half the price. The other one already had an electric car.
Lol! Should have bought these two Fezza's mate! I think I will. Dont have kids yet, but what the hell eh?
Beautiful dog! It's amazing how much she has grown since she joined you! ...oh, and I like the creative method of displaying your Ferrari models
