    Does anybody here go out to Texas World Speedway for the open track days? It looks like they have another one coming up on Oct 30th. I am thinking about going out for that one.

    FoH has had events there...I didn't drive them though.

    I am speaking of actual TWS sponsored open track days where you pay $125 and get 4 hours of track time. I was out last Friday and there were about 14 cars out there flying around the open track running CW from 3PM to 7 PM.

    It is one of the best deals around. The only thing better is the Friday test day before a race weekend. Basically, if you can show the track folks that you are not a complete moron, you get to run till you drop.

    I'm thinking about making the next date if possible. I'm itching to see how a Cayman does on the track.

    As Dale said, one of the best values. They run it well, not crowded, and more track time.

    Does anyone have a website to point to to get more information on these "open" days?

    For those of us considerable North, it would be nice to be able to plan in advance, possibly schedule the day, maybe a group of us could plan to go together?

    Not too many, mind you....we don't need a bunch of traffic out there :)
