This was inevitable as the series to me never seemed to have any sort of credibility, not top names to attract interest.

me too...amazing it lasted as long as it did. were the people who you knew involved former CART/IRL guys?
various, Pete Briggs was team manager for US team, along with a local friend geoff Bushor. most teams are/were managed by european guys. Easy enough when you only see the cars for a few days over the race week.
i raced with Sean McIntosh recently, and held my own. now that i know a [former] driver, it's sad to see it end.
My cousin raced for the Irish team for the first two seasons. It's been a long time coming but I'm sorry to see it's finally gone
Im glad I saved my money for F1 and MotoGP (go Casey). Never really liked the Indy race itself but the party was amazing
