Virginia plates, it is the USA press car. I have around 100 pictures which I'll put up into a gallery tomorrow.

After a nice chat with the Bugatti CEO the other day, I wouldn't exactly call it a press car. This car remains on the east coast and should be on its way to Florida. There is a sister car to this running around the west coast for a similar purpose.

I know who the driver in the photo is and I think he'd prefer to keep his name on the DL.

Since it's driving and not being shipped seems like something to do with marketing/publicity/press, and if the driver doesn't want publicity, I'll do it for maximum shameless promotion, lol.

On another topic I happened to go on Nissan's site to take a look at a GT-R and had major sticker shock to see them starting at $98K. I thought they were basically Nissan's version of a G-35.

Go down to the US, and you can pick one up for $69k.

As usual, us Canadians are getting really screwed with car prices.....now that the dollar is par, its easy to see the price difference. Here are some "used" cars I have recently compared:

    Ferrari 599: $299k US.........$389k CD

    Ferrari 360 Coupe: $95k US......$125k CD

    Cadillac Escalade: $49k US.....$64k CD

I got nailed yesterday morning on a back street in my neighbourhood for not displaying my front license plate.

Has anyone had any experience with it - is it worth going to court to have the fine decreased or removed or do they treat it black and white? Obviously pleading not guilty isn't an option.

Unless you can put your front plate on temporarily and take a photo (and remove the plate thereafter ;)), they won't do much about the fine.

I've been seeing GT-Rs everywhere lately. I saw a potentially "ricey" red/black one with a custom paint job that was DEFINITELY lowered, on matte black rims today.

This was on Winston Churchill Blvd in Mississauga, just south of the 401.

I saw a black GT-R on Mississauga Rd near Eglinton Ave last night, as well as a grey one (that was at the exotic cruise I believe, with a custom plate) in Woodbridge last week.

Hoping to see a couple more soon. It's extremely large but I haven't quite grown on the styling yet. I'd take a 370Z over one, simply because I wouldn't want to be out $100K+ and only have a Nissan badge on my car. For $100K I better be getting a name that makes heads turn. I'm thinking... pre-owned V8 Vantage or 512TR?
